The LUFC Afternoon Breakfast Debate (Mon 11th Feb)

A strange weekend which gave us a well deserved point in a very late 101st minute equalizer with much been said about it on the match day thread. I will just add that Ayling, Klich, Bamford and Harrison could have done better and Bamford had the chances to win the game. That said it was the same old problem of dominating the match with no end product.

Is it time for Ayling to sit our next game out as he hasn't been good since he returned from injury.

Would you make any other changes from the team that finished the game at Boro' for our game v Swansea

The EFL have bottled Spygate and lots of speculation as to why which them sees the media come out with loads of stories about our spy being sent out on the road with tools and camouflage kit and spied on every club. My view is we haven't done nothing wrong so the EFL are going to make up some new rules for next season and will give us a slap on the wrist.

What has gone wrong with O'Connor ? sent home from Blackpool and now can't even make the squad at Bradford City.

All looks good for Jack Clarke as he was released from hospital late Saturday night and was taken to TA where Rob Price and his medical team stayed the night with him before allowing home yesterday. he will have this week off before having some tests.

Ayling

It is time, long past time infact for Ayling to be dropped, he now looks every inch a £750k player, he needs dropping for his own sake, not convinced he is fit, let him rest a bit. We will need Shacks pace vs Swansea, James is rapid :(

Not many changes we can make, Id like to see Izzy Brown start, we desperately need to score the first goal, not worried about Bamford, he will score goals, he was rusty, its understandable.

We wont get a points deduction, just worried that our form has dropped of a cliff since it all started, it cant continue.

Probably wasnt that good to begin with, he was ok, but no more then that.

Hopefully Jack will be back soon, we really will miss him on Wednesday, a player who can excite the fans is great. We dont play this weekend so he has a while to get back to health and fitness.

Time to rest Ayling definitely and give young Shack a start

Like to see Izzy given some time off the bench at least 20mins

EFL spouting hot air as nearly

Needs to find the right team that suits him

Hopefully young Jack is getting better, needs to be rested for a couple of games I’m thinking the hype has got to him a bit

I would have liked to rest Hernandez, but we don't have a senior player fit to step in...

Because he's not a number 10 and it looks like Bamford will get a run..

With the absence of Forshaw, Marcelo thinks he is, so he will get a run out again on Wednesday. I, personally, think that Bamford can play the no. 10, and they can interchange. They just need to get an understanding going. Roofe had a couple of chances on Saturday, as did Bamford.
