Saw only the first twenty minutes, so I can't really make an informed decision, alas.

I only saw the first half, up to just before our equaliser, so not a view of the full game, but I was impressed with Shackleton's performance. Everyone else was a bit meh, although Alioski was better on the right.

Roofe would easily have got my MOTM top vote had he not screwed up three golden opportunities in the first 20 minutes, game over had he shown a bit more composure, unfortunately we were made to bite our nails for not killing off a game yet again.

I also didn't like the way Roofey pinched the ball off Pablo who is generally our penalty taker, just relieved he banged the pen in beautifully. Nevertheless two goals makes Roofe our match-winner in a scruffy game so probably deserves the plaudits.

1 - Roofe one of the few players that would have even got to those chances, two of which were difficult

2 - Hernandez missed his last penalty

3 - Roofe the best player on the pitch yesterday

I'll come back to you when i watched a re-run of the game, two of them looked good opportunities to me
faaip wrote: Sun Dec 09, 2018 12:49 pm 2 - Hernandez missed his last penalty
He certainly did but both were tussling for the ball so I'm guessing Pablo was our designated penalty taker, I could be wrong

He was one of our better players without any doubt however even you made this comment on the matchday thread "Roofe playing a little erratically today...playing like Alio"

As for Ali even when the majority of players performances were poor he still can't grab a vote in our MOTM poll. I really can't see what our No.10 gives us

Shacks- thought he did well overall and provided a bit of pace and zip that we lack at times.

Roofe- having a bit of a moan but 2 goals are 2 goals. 1st in particular on reflection was very clever.

Klich- most composed player on the pitch, even when he isnt at his best he makes us tick.

Jansson- aside from the goal (which was Philips to deal with in the 1st place) thought he did well.

Forshaw- a calming influence.

Dodgy stream last 10 15 mins so cant comment but apparently Halme did very well.

Shackleton.
Jansson.
BPF.
Roofe.
Klitch.
Forshaw.

Shacks played well, some good attacking runs early doors.
Jansson solid, some good blocks and interceptions.
Roofe 2 goals, works hard. But should have had a couple inside the first 10 mins.
BPF couple of quality saves.
Forshaw, decent game, but slows play down.

Cooper shite. Not a cb.
Alioski, usual shite.
Rest,, average.

I know you're a Cooper fan, but i don't know why with our current injuries he's not playing Halme at centre half.
Coopers a midfielder.

You mean Phillips who had a real shocker yesterday Haighy. I can forgive KP for the odd bad game, lets face it Alioski has one half-decent game in ten & still manages to make the first eleven.

Same three that finished the blunts game should have started yesterday

Jansson.....Halme
.........Phillips........
