Glad that we are winning in spite of injuries/disjointed performances! That gap on 3rd looking nice and hopefully we'll be able to beat Bolton and keep the pressure on Norwich...
West Brom playing Sheff United next week as well so at least one of the pack are dropping points there! Derby - Forest as well so that's 4 of the top 7 playing each other.

Can't wait for Jan when we should have most of the squad back. It's cliché, but they will genuinely be like having new signings. Taking, Berardi and hopefully Cooper will give the young players a break, and Brown/Bamford getting fit sooner should take some pressure off Pablo, Alioski and Roofe (not that Pablo or Kemar are struggling!).

Feeling pretty positive!

The first goal is the sort of goal that would have likely been avoided if 2 'proper' centrebacks were playing as they know not to let the ball bounce. That said definitely some sympathy for Phillips as it wasn't like the ball was coming directly down the middle of the pitch so he probably didn't realise/expect the decision not to head it to be as costly as it was. Defenders learn by making mistakes (and eradicating them in future performances) which is why defenders usually cope in the later stages of their career when their pace has gone as they read the game so much better and get into the right positions early, know which way to let attackers run etc.

All in all though not to worried that QPR ended the game on top as it is often the way when a team only leads by one goal as the opposition will throw everything at you, usually bringing on an extra forward, and you can get stuck on the back foot, key is we survived and QPR didn't really create too many chances. With players set to come back around Christmas and into January/Fenruary they can have the same impact as having new signings but with the added bonus that they already know the way Bielsa wants them to play. Hopefully we can really motor in the second half and the concerns over player burnout can be lessened because a lot of players have had little breaks due to their injuries.
