You obviously missed forgot about my opening post on this topic matefaaip wrote: ↑Fri Apr 12, 2019 7:34 pm Oh god Tool....Justin Chancellor driven Prog Metal band with side projects. Love them and still await the new album
What's the most accessible Tool album Faaip? The debut (Undertow) is almost a straight up rock album loaded with nice riffs. Aenima (with the hologram cover if you get a good version) is them really becoming Tool and the first 4 as good as anything laid on vinyl until it all gets a little overly pretentious. Lateralus is the cleverest album musically but demanding (another lovely CD cover.) Finally 10,00 days is probably the most commercial and accessible but maybe my favourite just for ease of listening. This has a great CD cover with stereoscopic glasses built in and images to be enjoyed through them...
I guess you realised I get my user name comes from Lateralus
From 10,000 days - Jambi
From Lateralus the matching pair Parabol and Parabola
From Aenima - One of my top 5 Tool - 46 and 2
And outside of an EP that's it ...1 EP and 4 albums in 27 years
Playlist over the last week.

My fault for going off topic and asking for recommendations.
I didn't realise they'd recorded so little, otherwise I could have probably just looked it up myself. Links appreciated, anyway, and it's always nice to know what someone else has enjoyed. I've ordered Tago Mago, and will listen to the Tool tracks.

Lists are boring without context..and all of my post was about music. Plus I played them so it's a playlist

Completely random record shop closing down purchase last week, having not ever heard it before (or anything by the band other than the HotRS cover) - vinyl copy of the first Frijid Pink album, which has had several plays today - like it
Also got a 'new' vinyl copy (my old one was knackered) of Let It Bleed - IMO the Stones at their finest !! (definitely one of my albums)

Liz Phair 'Juvenilia'
Loving this EP from this American singer/songwriter, so much so I have two of her albums to order on Amazon, bit pricey some of them way out of my price range. Bought Juvenilia' for 50p, a bargain
Her songs will feature in the next few Mega-Song Polls
Mark Hollis is a genius
Spirit Of Eden
The Party's Over
It's My Life
The Colour of Spring
Mark Hollis
Enjoying this one
Calexico 'Algiers'
