Hi Folks

Leeds travel down to Ewood Park on Saturday for a lunchtime kick off as Lancashire meets Yorkshire.

The Whites welcome back Berardi and Roofe who have both been on the treatment table for over a month though Hernandez, Brown and Douglas are doubtful, Bamford out until February and Ayling suspended following his red card against Brentford.

Shackleton and Berardi will fight it out to replace Ayling whilst Pearce and Dallas will contest the left back slot.

Though Roofe played (and scored) for the u23's against Burnley last week, it is likely that Roberts will retain his lone striker role and the former Oxford man to come off the bench!

Leeds will be looking to close the gap on the Blades and West Brom but Blackburn will provide resilience having already recorded victories over Brentford and Stoke this term.

I think MB would take a few more risks as despite some good football we have been goal shy.
No disrespect to Roberts, but when our best players are back we play them pure and simple.
I would try Roofe and Clarke myself to let the home team worry

If Roofe is fit to start he plays. If not Roberts has done a stand up job in his absence. I would definitely look at Clarke regardless of any other fitness issues in the team. Looked quality in the Brentford game.

I still think Roberts or whoever started up front should have scored more goals. Take out the 2 against a poor Preston team we only have 1 from our number 9 while Roofe was out.
Hence, Roofe starts

Agree entirely Dalton, we should play our best players, you only have to look at Jansson's immense performances after he took over from Berardi's impressive start. Tbh with regard to Roberts Preston were awful, we should have score 7 or 8 goals that night

Roofe over Roberts
Hernandez over Harrison
Jansson over Berardi

There is no doubt imo.......play our best team !

!00% on that 64. I also think that if we arent creating enough chances then Clarke comes on earlier.
MB said himself that we took 25 chances to score 1 goal against Wednesday.

Not good enough basically.

I might stick my neck out and say we will score twice for a change on Saturday!

At last an away game I managed to get a ticket for, not surprising I suppose as we were allocated 7,650.
I just hope with players coming back that we can up our game a little bit and start turning our dominance into more goals and winning comfortably again.
It’ll be a tough old battle as Rovers play decent football particularly at home and in Bradley Dack they have a dangerous goal scoring midfielder.

I'm wondering whether he might play Roberts and Roofe at the expense of Harrison?

Have a horrible feeling that Jack Clarke will suffer because of Bielsa and his pecking order.

Not a huge knock on Bielsa but i cant see him dropping Harrison because he probably gave Pep his word on game time.

Not sure Berardi at right back will work in this system, his attacking play isnt good enough, maybe Dallas although he was dreadful at left back.

I hope to see.

Hernandez back in the first 11, id let Roberts maintain his place, have Roofe on the bench, full back, Dallas i suppose and Alioski is the obvious choice, he was superb vs Brentford there.

Harrison and Hernandez wide, the rest picks itself it seems.

Clarke and Roofe on the bench.

Much prefer Clarke start over Harrison but that wont happen and i wouldn't be surprised to see him sadly dropped all together.

Clarke to replace Harrison for me

Had we retained Coyle he'd be an ideal replacement for Ayling down the right flank

Alioski at LB if Douglas is unfit

Roofe has to start, we need more goals

Major concern Mrs Jansson hasn't dropped their sprog yet

Harrison is ruled out.
