Interesting article and shows where Radz sees us. Personally I think that he should be looking at making us a top 4 brand mot top 8.

We were once - and I think it's more hoping than expecting.

We were indeed Norm, one of the biggest clubs in England. A massive club, ruined by the idiots who ran the club in the early 2000's.
And yes, perhaps more hoping than expecting :)

Definitely not impossible. I'd say our fan base is still bigger than city or Chelsea and probably spurs as well.
None of those clubs would survive if they fell like we had. Definitely not with 30k turning up every week in the championship and selling out their away allocation week in week out.

Problem is we f@*ked up right at the time that football in England revolutionised financially - no question we are there in terms of support etc. but financially we are light years away from establishing ourselves near the top of the PL. Some clubs who were well behind us when we were plying our trade in the CL have gone on and built themselves into PL mainstays, we not only missed the boat we tied bricks round our own ankles and threw ourselves off the jetty! That is why that absolute w@nker Ridsdale has so much to answer for.
