Re: EFL Cup 2018/19
Was the draw like the boxing day matches as in picking clubs close together in miles?
I mean why didnt Carlisle get Yeovil or Southend V Morecambe?

There's a north/south divide in the first few rounds, i believe it was done as a cost cutting thing as the early rounds often produced low gates, consequently low revenues. A few closer more derby type games was thought better gate receipts plus lower costs for smaller clubs travelling.

Personally I would like Wolves at home. We owe them one.

A lower club at ER please so I'm not tempted to go as I have so much going on in my life atm. Three games coming up with long expensive trips to Swansea & Norfolk
It's conceivable I'll have to miss the next round anyway as we're in Shrewsbury for a wedding

Would like Derby and Boro to go through, the more games they play the better, even though Boro play mainly second string.

Paudie O'Connor scored Blackpool's goal & was then sent-off 15 minutes later
