20k a week with a release clause.

Thats fair imo.

Not the highest earner but a decent rise.

Good work.

Now get Klich done.

Bielsa praised Kalvin

“Kalvin was an example for everyone.

“In a context that is very professional, with a lot of the speculation which is not good, Kalvin is showing us that you can be a big player, a good player and at the same time respect the values that is very difficult to find.

“He deserves all the good things in the personal life because he teaches us how you can live professional life in football without forgetting about yourself, but keeping the behaviour in the right way.”

Similar words I echoed about KP months ago, a genuine nice lad

Who would have thought that Phillips would have turned out to be such a star.

Bielsa has moulded him to International standard.

Turned a £500,000 player into one worth £20+million.

Marcelo & his staff salaries completely justified, apart from KP they have struck gold with Klich, Forshaw, Dallas, Cooper & White

Let's hope he's still the same player he was before the wage rise then.

The test will be in the January window if it is blatantly obvious that we require a couple more quality signings to get us over the line

We screwed it up last season, we can't afford to do it again

Last season was such a disappointment on several levels, and that's WITH Marcelo

Kalvin is born and bred in Leeds, so I’d like to say he’d never join the scum but if we don’t go up this season...... like Smith if the club want to sell you and the only bid on the table is from the scum then you’ve gonna go

To be honest if these clubs weren't looking at Kalvin, they're not doing their jobs. This is why we need to go up.

Smith had Middlesbro' & Scum as his options so he really did make the correct choice as he'd be competing at the top of the premiership as oppose to scrapping about in relegation battles with Boro' who lost their premiership status three seasons later.

Leeds fans forget that Smith chose to waive the personal transfer fee owed to him by the club, how many of the other players made such an offer?

People forget Smith only went to scum as they were the only ones who'd pay up front when we needed the money. Everton wanted to pay in instalments over 4 years. He probably saved the club.
