How did you deduce that Leon ? Is it because Hudds are at home on those days and WYP do not let us play at home on same day ?

Unsure if it is a police policy but over the years teams such as :

Leeds/Huddersfield
City/Man U
Everton/Liverpool
Spurs/Arsenal
etc, one plays at home the other away

One of the relegated sides, WBA , Stoke or Swansea and to give them a good hiding and send out a strong message to the rest of the Championship.

West Brom would be a good test to begin the new campaign

alternatively

Rotherham would hopefully be a three pointer game

Blimey have EFL rigged this fixture list :duno:

Fantastic start to the season v Stoke City at what will be a full house at ER

Fixtures not panned out as I hoped :

Swansea on a Wednesday night in August, was hoping for the 1st Sept as we're at a wedding in Shrewsbury on the Friday.

Three long journeys in three weeks during August/September

Hull is a local evening game so I'll have to grab a lift with my Hull City mates as there are no trains back home after 9.40pm

Forest away falls on Mrs 64's birthday

Reading away on a Tuesday night in March

Brentford on Easter Monday which is bound to be switched to a 12.30pm kick-off or an evening game

Last game of the season on a Sunday 12.30pm at Ipswich, a real early start for that one, at least it's in May

Maybe the EFL will change some of the fixtures for you 64 if you explain some of your date clashes nicely to them. Not so sure about Sky, once they have made their amendments, I have heard they are no so flexible....... ;-)

Pleased about the start.

Tough fixtures but least it will give us a proper idea of where we are at.

"Leeds dominate for 93 minutes but lose to a last minute Peter Crouch header from a long throw".

Wow that a tough opening few games to be sure

However, at least Swansea away (now my nearest game, since Cardiff have gone up) is on a nice August evening and not a bleak mid-winter Wednesday evening. :moggy:

I'll be there Norfolk but just for the game as we have too much going on in the next few weeks. Sadly we had to cancel our last planned weekend to Norfolk.
