New theory.
Marcelo Bielsa doesnt become the new Head Coach.
Instead he takes the role of "Adviser" to Radz and Orta, on structure, on style, on signings etc. Gets paid through Aspire Academy.
Matias Almeyda becomes the Head Coach.
Similar to Wolves with Jorge Mendes, well known person advises the inexperienced board, young coach takes the front of house job.

Exciting times ahead.
Leeds have never entertained a coach with the amount of money that is being banded about.
It will be extremely interesting to see our odds of promotion drop dramatically over the next few days....

Just a hunch, its all been very public, very much reported and talked about.
TC and Hecky wernt even in the running till the day before they were appointed. Theres many questions about Bielsa, why would he come to us, how can we possibly afford a man who earned £8mil a year just last year.
Answer, you use his name, his experience, his contacts, but you only employ him as an adviser, cheaper for us, less tying for him, a man with many outside commitments.
Ive got it sussed Radz, time to come clean

Thats the thing though, Bielsa isnt just expensive by our standards, he is expensive by anyones standards. His earnings at Lille put him up there with Wenger at Arsenal.Ellandback1 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 12, 2018 1:54 pm Afternoon Cjay, good theory, and certainly plausible!

In comparison we paid peanuts to every manager we have ever had.

How can you go from having a 20k a week wage cap (just over 1m), and employ someone who was on eight times that much. All I can think is the promotion bonus must be huge....
