Or is Continental the way to go ?

Do you skip breakfast ?

Is it reasonable to watch TV whilst breakfasting or should you read a paper/internet or just speak to the other half

Put these in order

Black Pudding
Eggs
Hash Browns
Baked Beans
Shredded Wheat
Wheatabix
Cornflakes
Porridge
Toast with marmalade or jam

I never skip breakfast now , I used to for years when I was working .

Always a cereal for breakfast , nuts and seeds muesli, shredded wheat usually with chopped up almonds and raisins . I do have a protein shake on gym days .

I don’t eat a cooked breakfast at all now , not even when I’m on holiday .

Never turn the tv on until about 8pm at night . Don’t really watch it that much .

Eggs
Baked beans
Shredded wheat
Toast ( whole meal etc )

Don’t eat any of the others .

Breakfast is the best meal of the day for you apart from unfortunate people like Faaip

Full of nutrition & prevents you from snacking all day

I don't often have breakfast but enjoy it when I do, and I'm good at cooking exactly what I've specified below.

1st & 2nd prerequisites - all fried in lard (actually a lot healthier than its rep.) and 1 extra frying pan or a griddle

Eggs with snot-free whites but soft yolks (achieved by intermittent splashing of the hot lard over them)
Bacon cooked fully but never crisp
White bread fried crisp on the outside
Cumberland or Lincolnshire sausages
Big flat breakfast mushrooms
Hash Browns from proper potatoes (not out of a packet)
Black Pudding
Baked beans (optional)

Porridge is OK with brown sugar but it would be in place of the above.

All cereal is crap, with almost no nutritional value whatsoever, but some brands don't taste bad, so Corn Flakes and toast with marmalade would be another alternative to the fried one.

If I am in a rush then it is a ceral bar and a Weetabix milk drink, if I am not rushing to get out early then it is usually a bowl of fruit and yoghurt. When away on holiday I will have a full English breakfast the first morning but I couldn't do one of those every day

Breakfast is not necessarily the best meal of the day for everyone despite what some 'one size fits all' doctors say, it's not necessarily full of nutrition and it doesn't necessarily prevent one from snacking.

If you have cereal of almost any kind, or toast, for your breakfast, there is very little real nutrition in it, just sugar. Also, many people who are circumferentially challenged tend to eat too much anyway, so once they start eating they tend to keep on eating, so having a breakfast for those people does not stop them snacking all day.

I like a good breakfast maybe 1 day a week or when on holiday, but generally I'm much better with a brunch at about 10:30/11:00 after some exercise, then a smaller meal for dinner. No matter, we're all different.
