Good Morning Everyone

According to The Times, West Ham are about to transfer list Sam Byram.

The 24 yo has failed to impress this season, and has fallen down the pecking order.

Who'd take him back?

Who's going to go up next season?

This is what the bookies think!

Swansea 11/4

Stoke 3/1

West Brom 3/1

Boro 7/2

Brentford 11/2

Derby 11/2

Leeds 13/2

And the relegation candidates are:

Bolton 5/2

Ipswich 11/4

Millwall 4/1

QPR 4/1

Reading 9/2

Do you agree with these odds?

Which player would you choose to come back and play for the Whites?

Briane Deane

or

Lee Chapman

Morning Ell.

No I wouldn't have Byram back.

Leeds are going up.

Millwall are going down.

Undecided at the moment. :bear:

Hi EB, no thanks to Byram.

Way too early to talk about promotion and relegation chances, we don't even know what the squads will be like at the start of next season.

Morning Ell,

No thanks re Byram, don't think we need him, tbh

No surprise the bookies have the three relegated clubs as favourites to go up, but it doesn't always work that way. And, as H says, way too early to be calling that one, up or down.

Chapman

Good Morning Mrs Bear, I never really got what people saw in Byram tbh.

We can only hope...

Morning Harry, regarding promotion and relegation - show me a poor bookies?

It gives me heart that at least we are in the mix, but yes - far too early to tell....

Morning 1304, Chapman was an incredible headerer of the ball. I can't remember seeing a better finisher with their head???

True, that's why people shouldn't be in a rush to place a bet

At the right price yes to Byram

Bookies will have a different set of odds by the time the season kicks off

Neither, hobson's choice for me ..

One excellent debut season under Warnock then Byram's consistent form somewhat dwindled. Never a premiership full-back in a million years, overrated at the time of his departure from Leeds

No not for me as we already have three decent right-backs on our books

Too early to say Matt

I reckon Middlesbro' will be one of the three promoted teams

I can eliminate one on that list :roflmao:

Interesting you said three decent right backs.

You watch Leeds week in, week out - would you describe Berardi as a decent right back / player?

Without doubt Lee Chapman, a prolific goalscorer & played a huge role in winning Division 1 as it was then

Deane was a donkey, would struggled to win awards on Scarborough beach

Berardi back up for me as he can play in both full-back positions. I personally have lost a bit of patience with Gaetano, his defending wasn't up to his normal standard last season, once again he lost his discipline & as always he has a nosebleed when he goes beyond the halfway line

Ayling No.1 with Coyle No.2, both attacking right-backs

No to Byram, we don't need him and I felt he was overrated before he left anyway. Can't defend and isn't a winger.
