Hi. I've been reading this forum as a guest for a good while, but only properly joined a few weeks ago. This is my first post so be gentle!

I live in York now, but I'm still in touch with my mates in Edinburgh. I'm told that Leeds are actively trying to buy John McGinn.

He'd be a fantastic addition to the squad. In fact, he's someone who the team could be built around.

welcome ELUFC.

We do like our short arse mid fielders it seems...not sure that's a good thing these days as our last few have gotten bullied too easily in this division

This boy doesn't get bullied, quite the reverse.

He's full of drive and determination and often seems impossible to disposess.

I've never seen anyone use their arse to such good effect since Kenny Dalglish. :)

He'll captain Scotland once Scott Brown finally steps aside, imo.

Welcome Edinburgh

That's a huge testament to the lad comparing him to Dalglish's attributes

Sounds like just the player we need, captain material too !

I've not seen him play so no idea, but that's been said about a lot of our 5'10 midfielders in the past. Always worth a look but for me not a position of importance for us.
