Burton down , son of Clough , don't care how well he has done with no money I'm happy

Sunderland are a shambles, don't see them coming straight back up
Shame for Burton, I like to see a small club defy the odds. Not to be, but they'll come back, I reckon
No, he wouldn't, cos he's a crap manager. With all due respect to them, I think they are a L1 side who occassionally punch above their weight and have a season or 2 in the Champs. Don't see them bouncing back straight away

There's no definitive answer to the question Would Heck have saved Barnsley?

I can answer probably with as much authority as those that say no

No interest in who's gone down, though my next door neighbour is a Mackem

What a day at the foot of the table as Bolton and Burton swapped places for the 3rd relegation spot, Bolton were as good as down as forest led 2-1 at the Macron and Burton were drawing at Preston but 2 goals in the last 4 mins saved Bolton

Sad for Burton, to just take it to the last day was a great achievement, hope they come back up.

Sunderland are a shambles, very much like we were at one point.

Barnsley are a poor squad, Hecky wouldnt have saved them, his ppg over his last 16 games was 0.5

For Leeds? Only 8 points? Maybe check again

Glad Sunderland have gone down....never forgiven them (especially that cheat Stokoe winding up the ref) for the F.A cup defeat in 1973 (think they will struggle to get back up though)
Don't like son of Clough, so no pity for him, but I do feel for the Burton fans
Can't stand Barnsley. Being a Wakefield lass they're just down the road so I hear plenty of crowing and the fans were dreadful on my visit to Oakwell afew years ago, throwing coins at the Leeds supporters! No sympathy there.

No i meant for Barnsley.

His last 16 games.
9 points from 16 games.

I was being kind, if you take the same amount of games as Jose Morais had its even worse.
0.53 ppg for Hecky last 15 games as opposed to 0.56 ppg for his last 16 games.

Morais was 0.86 ppg.

Over the last 32 games for us and Barnsley.

Hecky has - ppg 0.78

Over the entire season Paul Heckingbottom has 43 points
Ppg 0.93.

Not good any way you look at it.

He had 2 teams in relegation form over 1 season

Barnsley as you say have a relegation squad, we were in relegation form thanks to TC. Heck just couldn't turn it around.

Barnsley fans think so !

Tykes never in the bottom three when he was there even though they are one of the worst teams I've seen in the championship
