Good news, a lot of our younger players could learn a lot from Pablo. Would also like to see him offered a role when his playing days are over

Would be great if it does happen and restore some faith in the board that they can compete with other teams to retain our best players. Player of the year for me.

I agree with keeping him on the staff as you cant buy that kind of ball playing class and he can definitely teach the kids a thing or two.
Good signing and at least he is a committed white as well

Quality player and a statement of our intent. Hopefully will convince the likes of Jansson to give it another year and attract other signings too.

PABLO HERNANDEZ SIGNS NEW TWO YEAR CONTRACT
Fan favourite to remain at Elland Road.

Leeds United are pleased to announce that Pablo Hernandez has signed a new contract to remain at the club.

The Spaniard has put pen to paper on a new two-year-deal to stay at Elland Road, which runs until the summer of 2020. Hernandez has been one of the side’s standout performers this season, making 42 appearances and finding the net nine times

Hopefully signed due to assurances given to him about our summer recruitment, wouldn’t have thought he would have stayed unless promises were made

Great news, glad our Player of the Year is staying :) (plus I had a new LUFC bear for Christmas and I called it Pablo, wouldn't have wanted to consign him to the back of the cupboard quite so soon  ) :bear:
I'm going back to 505, I saw them at Sheffield and they were amazing.

I just hope that isn’t our biggest “signing” for next season and I’m not convinced he has another 18 months in those legs not alone 2 years, hope I’m wrong.

I was wayyy to overly optimistic this season

I’m not a fan of PH but I don’t see it as all his fault and it looks like we’re keeping him for next season. All the signs are there that PH wants to set us up for 4-4-2 and I just don’t see where Hernandez will fit in unless out wide on the left.

I’d hope we would sign a far better wide left player, not an aging number 10 out of position. I’m not saying Hernandez wasn’t our best this season, I’m more concerned where he will fit into the team and I’m concerned he is going to be number 11 next season.

I’m assuming Saiz and Forshaw in the middle of a 4-4-2

The fact that Pablo was by far our PoTS is a huge worry.......he is in the twilight of he's career and whilst he has been mercurial at times, there should have been at least 3 or 4 other players ahead of him for this accolade. The fact that there wasn't meant the club were forced to give Hernandez a two year deal, when in reality it should have only been 1 year. I am pleased he is signing, without doubt, but this is a sign of how poor the rest of our squad is tbh, rather than a real show of intent for next seasons campaign.
