Oli McBurnie

Chances look good that this one will happen. Seems appropriate since Lassoga will be gone and none of our strikers are making an obvious claim right now. I thought we had a done deal for Mbakogu too. I know we're all hoping for an established No. 9 in the summer window. Does McBurnie fit the bill? I've only seen him play once for Swansea earlier this year. He's a Leeds lad and he won't cost much, which are both plusses. Will he make an impact? Is he our starting striker for next year? What does everyone think?

Looks a decent player tbf.

But the thought of Heckingbottom here next season fills me with dread.

He's a Heckingbottom signing and that worries me, nothing about Hecky suggests he can get us promoted and of he stays i fear for us regardless of who we sign.

Good record in this league, albeit only a short career, haven't seen much of him but would seem a decent signing if the fee is right.

Another player who will crumble under the expectation at Leeds. He might do well at a smaller club with no pressure but how many times do these players not do it for us. Besides he'll probably be expensive as he's English, so like £10m.

He's out of contract so the money's a good deal

2019. If Swansea are smart they'd give him a new deal and let a bidding war commence.

So Hecky signed him on-loan at Barnsley in January, scored 8 goals in 13 games for the tykes. Never seen him play so l'll be able to judge him when he adds to his tally on Saturday ;-)

Played on loan at Newport and scored a hat trick first game, however I would liken him to Roofe ability wise

We've got one of those, we don't require another one

Apparently Ollie McBurnie was with us from the Under 9s and we let him go at 14yo

Went to Garforth Academy, and he was 4 years below my son. Was playing for the the U16's when he was 12, and was rated a real talent. He was released by Leeds when he was 14, not sure why, but he has done well in the Swansea U23's, and at Newport and Barnsley on loan. Not the marquee striker signing we would be hoping for, but he is a decent player.

Sent away from Swansea in their worst season in ages.

Is no where near the established striker that we need
Thought that might be the case

As well as him we have been linked with.

Tom Bradshaw
Andy Yiadom
Joe Williams
George Moncur.

He is going to raid his former club like most managers do.

Only problem is his team is close to relegation for a reason :(

Impressive stats for the tykes, no doubt they would worsen if Oli signed for Leeds :(

Very good stats and certainly looks like a young player with potential. Scored for fun in Swansea's U23s.
