I'd fancy him with a one on one more than Wood, too.

No one is blaming Peacock-Farrell for not keeping clean sheets, yet they expect Lasogga to score goals in a team that's playing badly.

this the same chris wood who has got 9 in 14 starts in the prem this season in one of the lowest scoring teams of the division?

Different types of strikers in fairness - Wood wasn't great at one on ones but was good at instinctive finishes. Lasogga is a more composed finisher but lacks the speed to get into as many positions to score as Wood.

Obviously nothing to do with the fact Lasogga had gotten over his injuries and had probably gotten more settled with his homelife with his missus and baby now living in Leeds. Seemingly his second half performance v Millwall hadn't actually happened just as we are told that the players who topped the league and had been top 6 for ages are all actually cr*p.

Is he ?

Some truly great composed finishes from Chris Wood here & the clip below doesn't include his magnificent strike at Birmingham out of his own making

My god we have missed Chris Wood, a striker who was always in the right place at the right time last season unlike our current lump. Now showing his worth to Burnley who are 7th in the premiership & still in with a chance of gaining a top six place

also burnley will be in the europa league next season because man city won the league cup and so it passes down to seventh in the league.

The video shows his goals - doesn't show the misses. A lot of strikers aren't great when they have a lot of time to think as they approach the keeper on a one on one situation.

Who cares about his misses when he scores 30 goals in a season

Not saying I care about his misses just stating that he has different attributes to Lasogga - Wood is more suited to the English game than Lasogga. Could see Lasogga doing well in a league where they play a more possession based game and get the ball into his feet more and play to his strengths.

There's more chance of Heckingarse being the next Sean Bean than there is Sean Dyche
