Leeds v Wolves - Team/News/Reports/Ratings

Post by 1964white »

Battenn down the hatches, park the bus, get 10 men behind the ball - Wolves are in town!

Even the most optimistic amongst us will not be looking forward to Santo's men coming to town

Would be typical Leeds to beat the team running away with the league

Wolves have sat at the top of the summit of the Championship for the majority of the season, a stark contrast on last season when they finished eight places below Leeds last season in 15th place.

How Wolves have turned it around?

Perhaps Wolverhampton is a great place to live - Nooooooooooo..... In fact Wolverhampton are ranked as the 77th best place to live. Saying that would you believe Leeds are only ranked 61st. (Hull and Bradford are bottom 137th and 138th).

3-2-4-1 when we are attacking

5-4-1 defending

Alright it has to be FLAPPER then if we have no other options :(

Jansson Pennington Cooper

Forshaw Vieira

Dallas Hernandez Saiz Alioski

Lassogga

Expecting a loss but wouldn't put it pass Leeds getting something

Lonergan (if fit)

Jansson Pennington Cooper

Forshaw Vieira

Dallas Hernandez Saiz Alioski

Lassogga

Prefer the solicitor in net and Eckuban upfront as he’d occupy their defenders far more than Lassie, I’ve put my usual £5 on a Leeds win but not expecting to get my money back, hoping for a well fought draw and that we don’t get smashed

Good side Wolves, still not as great as has been made out. Fortunate with injuries all season. Not lost Jota, Boly, Neves or Bonatini for long periods.

Jota doesnt start vs Fulhan and Neves is suspended, they lose comfortably.

No different from anyone else in this league imo, have a few stars, if they lose them or they hit poor form then Wolves struggle. While on form with all available they can be excellent take out Neves and Jota and they start to wobble.

No wins in 3.

That being said we are hopeless

Wiedwald

Bera
Jansson
Coops
De Bock

Vieira
Forshaw

Ali
Saiz
Pablo

Ekuban

Pace of Ekuban to get behind the wolves wing backs pull cbs out of position.

Intelligence of Pablo to play those passes, movement of Ali and Saiz.

But Hecky isnt going to do that, he will probably start Lassie O'Kane and Anita.

The worrying thing about Law firm is he wasn't better than Adam Bartlett in the National league North for York and got sent back

I don't see how we can make many changes for the Wolves game, I agree drop O'Kane but is De Bock any better than Anita? PH has inherited an average bunch, he won't get anything extra out of them than Thomas did.

Just said exactly the same thing in O'Kane speaks thread

There is no way unless Forshaw, De Bock and Vieira all have food poisoning and cant get out of bed on Wednesday that the other 3 should start, id rather they dont even make the bench.

Nearly everything is average about our club Richard

Radz & Orta have an awful lot to answer for all our problems, not quite the messiahs a large section of our support fell for. After years of unscrupulous owners I'm sceptical of any businessman who takes over at Leeds.

Even the half-time entertainment is tinpot :(

Highly unlikely they would be game-changers or make much impact coming off the bench

Feel a bit sorry for Anita, he has been shoehorned into positions that arent his best. At least he has a career at a high level to be able to say "look i played here and did this".

But O'Kane and Philips nope, hope for Phillips but certainly shouldn't be starting as much as he has.

Anita hasn't played in his natural position for Leeds yet nine months after arriving at ER & two managers in !

Trouble is he seems to be getting less out of them than they are clearly capable of.

Still think there was a little improvement until the Boro' game playing against tougher opposition with every team in the top eight. The only credible championship team TC faced in 2018 was Cardiff

7 out of 8 predicted so far have gone for a Wolves victory

Barnsley under Hecky managed to hold Wolves to a 0-0 draw at Oakwell in January
