Well we just got there this afternoon to maintain our unbeaten run

Don openly admitted he had a stinker which put the pressure on. We were coasting the game when between us we gave our opponents eight points through pure bad luck. We went into the final end three down which would have cost us the match had I not bowled in to steal the jack with my penultimate final bowl

Phew that was close !

Hoof & I were in top form tonight & we had to be as our opponents were on the top of their game in a pulsating match that ended up 19-16 in what was a hard fought victory for us. I can't recall a bad end with the jack often surrounded by 16 woods & plenty of touchers.

Rearranged triple league match at ten o'clock this morning for the first of two matches today.

Great team performance with all three of us in very good form as we won comfortably 25-11 moving us up to 4th in the league

Hoof & I defending our unbeaten start to the pairs campaign this evening

Another win in our evening pairs match tonight although the game was closer than the score suggests, excellent bowls all round

Went up to our bowls club on a cold freezing night here in East Yorkshire to watch my pairs team as it was my stand down this evening, nice & warm in the indoor arena though :)

Well it was a nerve wracking experience, just like watching Leeds as Pam struggled to find any form leaving her hubby Hoof continuously under pressure often bailing his Mrs out, in the end we were probably fortunate to gain a draw which does at least keep our unbeaten start intact

Another rearranged early start match at 10am as Don & I aim to protect our unbeaten run in the Aussie pairs tomorrow morning.

A very easy victory for Don & myself to maintain our unbeaten run

I quite enjoy playing on a morning as I'm wide-awake being an early bird :-D

I often did last season  when John had a bit of a downer on bowls after playing far too much in the summer. John & I won the evening league for four consecutive seasons from 2011/12 onwards, then he introduced Pam into the team in the 2015/16 so we decided John & I would play Monday's & John & Pam on Wednesday evenings as it is John's team. John often asks me to skip as I have done in four of our matches together this season. Right now Pam is basically a No.1 bowler as the responsibility of skipping could be step too far for her although she has beaten both John & I in outdoor singles matches. We are going for our eighth league title :-D

Not a good morning as we lost one of our games in hand in the Triples League. Since the intervention of this local tournament we haven't lost three games in a whole season, we have already lost three of our first five matches this season

I played my worse bowls in many years so much so if I was rating myself I would call it a 4/10, I generally set my standard between 8 & 10/10, this morning I rarely got it right

Only one of our three bowlers played well. Credit to the opposition who bowled well to win comfortably 21-10

Just a bad day at the office I suppose :(

I see what you did there you sneaky Hector :roflmao:

I'll be hopefully assisting John (On the Hoof who use to put up his horse selections on here, Hull City fan too) maintain our unbeaten run in our Evening League match tomorrow night
