Alan Pardew
In his seventh managerial position this journeyman is looking likely at yet another dtsmissal as the Baggies look doomed at the bottom of the premiership
At Newcastle he engineered a seven year contract which I assume the Geordies finally paid off last year
On 3 January 2015, Pardew was confirmed as the new Crystal Palace manager, signing a three-and-a-half-year contract with the club after a compensation package of £3.5 million was agreed. He was sacked a year later
On 29 November 2017, Pardew was appointed as the new manager of Premier League club West Bromwich Albion signing a contract lasting until the end of the 2019–20 season
This smooth-talking guy is an affluent wealthy man continually making a pigs-ear of any job he undertakes

Re: Andrew Pardew
He's a bit of a dick and he's not the best manager around, but he's not that bad.
Grayson could only dream of the success he's had, yet he goes from one job to another, and will be very wealthy for a manager who's a disaster above League 1 level.

Re: Andrew Pardew

Re: Alan Pardew
Pity there weren't similar opportunities in bowls Leon eh?
Your cup would truly runneth over.

Re: Alan Pardew
Prize money is skinny in bowls tournaments as you imply Norm. The winner of the recent World Championship picked up £50k. Still wish I'd have taken up the game as a kid
Re: Alan Pardew
Aye, I might have made a decent tennis player but didn't find out until I was past 40. We can all dream can't we!
Alan Pardue
Just been sacked by West Brom!!
Song machine is coming down....

I wonder how many sackings that is for AP - seems to have made a career out of occasional mediocrity and frequent underachievement, with him getting more money from paid-off contracts than anything else.
One way to make a living I suppose. He's the one laughing all the way to the bank.

Re: Alan Pardew
Can't believe the Baggies have waited so long since I first posted up Pardew's days were numbered

Re: Alan Pardew

A bumble bee under the laws of physics shouldnt be able to fly, but it does because no one has told it that it can't
Re: Alan Pardew
Read all about him - even more controversial than we thought Leon. The following link is a comprehensive report on him, although it's Wikipedia so is not guaranteed to be perfect.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Pardew
Pardew's initial contract with Newcastle in December 2010 was 5.5 years, with an 8-year extension agreed in September 2012, which casts serious doubt on Mike Ashley's sanity. He was kept on despite fan protests and near-riots from the fanbase at times but in December 2014 he was given permission to talk to Crystal Palace and left Newcastle with compensation agreed.
Reading that, he sounds like an arrogant nutter tbh, having some intermittent and occasional success but clueless at other times.

The only manager in history, who's players have stole as many taxis as he's got wins
