30,000+ attendances at ER....

Post by 1964white » Tue Jan 30, 2018 11:28 am

I wonder how long our extra 10,000 plus fans will hang around once the realisation kicks in that a play-off place is out of our grasp. Tbh bearing in mind we have 21,000 season-ticket holders I can't see our attendances falling below 26K which is still a decent crowd in the championship

I reckon we'll stay at 30k plus for most games for the rest of this season. Not sure about next season, depending on where we finally finish.
We're going up like there is no gravity!

We are still getting good crowds despite the poor performances. I expected the crowds to drop off several weeks ago. We must be doing something right !?!?

Although we had another good turnout with an attendance of 30,534 on Saturday that was one of lowest crowds of the season v Cardiff which suggests our attendances are on the wane

If we have a good game against the Blunts, even if we don’t win and show some passion I think our game against Bristol will be around the 30,000 mark but things will definitely have to improve to keep those numbers up

Bristol on Sky, Sunday teatime will put a good few off therefore I think this will dip below 30K. Then we have Brentford (Cat A) which will probably be lower, followed by Wolves midweek on Sky and people will be fearing another home drubbing. Everything depends on how the Heck can get us playing to keep the attendances up.
