Our Midfield....

Post by 1964white »

Appalling

It's a known fact that Pontus passed the ball more accurately than our midfield last season, think it was something like 87%.

Take a look at these mind-blowing stats  Birmingham had plenty of assists from our lot & Christiansen thinks this is acceptable !

Hernandez gives the ball away too much for my liking.
Those stats make poor reading.
Really need a quality midfielder in January.
As well as a striker !

I know this is not a popular belief, but if you sort out your midfield first, you make things much easier for everyone else.

I would be looking for 2 new midfielders and a left back.
Every game I predict a 3 - 1 Leeds win, I am traditional like that.

Not a surprise.

Mentioned it on Klich's thread.

His was 81% looked much more composed then any of the above.

Also pass numbers need to be taken into account.

Would imagine Pablo made more passes then anyone else.

His problem is he makes passes others dont see.

Need to also take into account the back four and keeper tend to pass it between them under less pressure than our midfielders are under, our midfielders will also be looking for the killer pass that often tends to get cut out as it’s eye of the needle stuff, often one touch and on the move
