Leeds v Forest - Team/News/Reports/Ratings

Post by 1964white »

Typically Forest sack the bread man just before we are to play them

We need to come out all guns blazing to redeem ourselves after the woeful show at St Andrews. Just hope we're not punch drunk after the New Year celebrations

Vieira & O'Kane are doubtful to start, lets hope we didn't pick up any other injuries on Saturday

Difficult to know which team Christiansen will go with. Imo there are certain players who don't deserve to start however because of our fragile squad it's impossible to make too many changes !

Should do lota of things.
Drop Ayling.
Rest Ali and Roofe

But that wont happen.

Wiedwald

Ayling
Coops
Jansson
Bera

Klich
Phillips

Ali
Saiz
Pablo

Roofe/Cibicki/Lassie take your pick. Quite like to see Cibicki tbf.

Edit . .come to think of it Alioski should play if he feels up to starting, not been in great form but wasnt long ago he was 4 in 4. And more importantly, he tore Forest to shreds last time, so him just being on the pitch will worry them.

A tricky selection because of not knowing who is injured/ill/fatigued. Would hope we have at least 2 of Vieira, Phillips and O'Kane available and then after that really the back 5 o remain unchanged and then 4 from Saiz, Hernandez, Alioski, Roofe, Lasogga and Cibicki and my preference would be Saiz central, PH and KR as the 2 wide and PL up top with Alioski and Cibicki given a breather.

Pretty much a ditto but perhaps rest Ayling, put the Warrior as RB and CBJ or Anita to left back

I like Roofe but he needs support and the ball so if it’s not working we need to change things sooner than 80mins

I remember Traore gave the defence a torrid time last time we met.
I hope Berardi puts some shackles on him.

This looks promising..

Ayling injured so perhaps Gaetano can move to his RB position, and Anita to LB

after all last seen Ayling was on the left wing.....

Not that I like to see our players injured, but Berardi needed something like this to get his postion back....
