Maybe....still unconvinced

Roofe had six shots yesterday & messed up on all of them. Had he controlled his shot with just the keeper to beat as he did at Burton he'd have added another one to his tally, his inconsistent technique showed up again as he smashed his shot far too high which consequently hit the woodwork.

Roofe is the best striker at ER right now, but we could do better imo!

And also when you look at the 3 strikers that we have played up front since Wood's departure they are all completely different in the way they play. PL is a fairly immobile target man that only comes alive around the box. He needs service and when he has had it has looked like a good finisher. Ekuban has express pace but so far doesn't look like a predator in front of goal and is as likely to be found chasing back into our half as getting on the end of a cross 10 yards out. Roofe has a little bit of both without really looking like he is suited to the role.

Does the manager know his best team / Does the manager play his best team "NO"
Why does the manager keep playing the 3/4 players who are poor week in week out , time for him to grow a pair and drop them and play all the future world beating youth were stock piling in the reserves , a fit and agile 17 yr old would be an improvement on a fat old lazy German up front .

don't want any negativity towards Radz as I think he loves the club and the fans but he might want to have a rethink regarding the quality of the players coming in , we as fans can see the positions that need filling with more quality players , why cant the coach and the chief scout ?????.
The trouble is we could have spent more on players to get the proven quality but in doing that then we wouldn't have been taking a risk on £3m Saiz. Not sure of the exact figures we spent but estimate of say £10m on all the players and to buy proven players it would have cost just that much for a Saiz equivalent (£7m Howson for example who isn't anywhere near capable of doing what Saiz does). So if we spent the whole war chest then we end up only being able to afford the 1 decent player and we are in a far worse position. Spending big doesn't always guarantee success as shown by Birmingham who spent heavily and got a proven manager, Harry Redknapp, in. Likewise Boro spent a fortune to compliment an already very good squad and a manager who was semi-proven at this level.

The manager will know his strongest team which is why he has left players like Klich out. No matter how good his pedigree TC doesn't think he is better at being able to mix it in the championship than the likes of Phillips, Vieira and O'Kane. TC may well want better players but he clearly doesn't think he has better players at his disposal. The 'future world beating youth' aren't even beating other teams in their reserve league so I hardly feel they are all ready to be unleashed yet. If they were good enough then I am sure TC would have brought them into the first team- I believe 1 or 2 are training with the first team so presumably he sees some potential in them.

If you look at the signings we made then you would have expected more of the likes of CBJ who has played several games for MU's first team. Not all signings will work out. Was there a better option available to sign at left back that was going to be better than you would have expected CBJ to be? When looking at our summer signings you would probably have expected CBJ to be the one that would have done best as he wouldn't have a language problem, had a great pedigree and had already played in the championship - certainly you would have expected him to be more likely to succeed than a 2nd division Spanish playmaker that hadn't really set the world alight despite being at an age where you would have expected someone with his talent to have been at a top tier club.

Would say there had to be.
One look at the Wolves forum tells you all you need to know, he hardly played for a very poor Wolves team.
They didnt rate him one bit and said "he is not as good as he thinks he is and has a huge sense of entitlement".
Probably thinks he is to good for this league, he isnt and if he doesnt get his head out of his ass he will end up in league 2 within 5 years.

Football is littered with lots of CBJ's talent but not huge amounts, dont put the work in, talent fades and career follows.

Think Klich is certainly an attitude issue, nobody can convince me Phillips and especially O'Kane are better players. Klich is calmer and more assured then both of them. Now, hopefully TC and Klich can work it out and if Klich is being an ass then he is at fault. Klich was signed a week or so after TC arrived. Surely TC knew he was coming? If he didnt rate him he should/would have said and if Orta is truthful and TC has the final say then we save £1.5mil. For that reason it has to be attitude.

Would say there had to be better then CBJ.
