Take That - Rule The World
Just heard Rule the World on the radio, what a great song.

Sad to see this one eliminated although many of the fellas on here are not going to vote for Take That :(

I hate songs loaded with cliche...always have doesn't usually matter who performs it. There are exceptions but they'd normally need some great instrumental work, inspired production/arrangement or just such a good voice it doesn't matter. Take That have none of the above imo

sorry...

if it were literature it'd be Mills and Boon.

I enjoy good pop music along with many other genres so that song is not irritating to me Norfolk

My love for music in general probably goes back to my toddler days when i would continuously tap my feet to the jazz/rock 'n' roll scene of the 50's, then experiencing the Mersey sound, watching TOTP (when it was great) & listening to Radio Caroline & Radio Luxembourg was the roots/grounding for my musical tastes.

I consider myself a lucky man for all my Music/Leeds United/Sporting experiences over the last seven decades :-D

That's the great thing about music there's plenty for everyone. My first real experiences of music I wanted to listen to rather than having been played by my parents was borrowing punk singles by The Exploited, Dead Kennedys, Disorder etc from my mates cool older brother, desperately wanted to be a punk but my mum wouldn't let me  Even got myself a paper round so I could start buying records!

:roflmao: :roflmao:

I also had a paper round for many years, that & the small amount of pocket-money from my parents gave me the opportunity to buy singles & attend Leeds United games, two pleasures that I've continued to persue upto the present day :-D
