I've noticed 15 have nominated in the 2000's but only 7 have nominated in the album of the year poll thread and 1 of those 7 haven't played this, so that makes it 9 picking songs on this but not nominating in the AOTY poll. Surely some of you have albums from this year.

Sorry, just spotted this. It's good, in fact their last two albums have been good. Looks like they are nearing the end though. Gillan's voice is fine when recorded, but is failing when playing live (He is 72 now though), and Steve Morse is suffering from acute arthritis in his right hand and may have to stop playing guitar. Don Airey is excellent on keyboards replacing the late Jon Lord, and Paice is still Paice - no difference whatsover.
