Always likely to happen Cjay, if we lose either Cooper or Pontus the blame lies firmly with our management for being so naive.
Yep.
Quite like to see Aapo Halme given a chance, looked decent for the u23s.
But Bielsa probably drop your mate to cb which against decent sides would never work.

According to a couple of my pals who regularly watch the U23's, Halme is promising prospect but not ready for first-team football.
And you are right Phillips replacing Jansson is not an ideal scenario, KP is not as commanding in the air so we would certainly have a bigger problem at defending set-pieces

Probably isnt but needs must an all that.
Just have to hope Pontus is ok, as you say Philips or any other 1st team option will make us even more vulnerable at set pieces.
Remember one thing, this Leeds United isn’t about one, two or three important players. We are a squad and we will never stop no matter what happens. Game by game and what ever happens, we are ready for every challenge!

Worryingly Pontus hobbled off at the final whistle, no crowd pleasing moment from the big man as the players were applauded off the pitch
Hopefully nothing too serious. PJ does seem to constantly be picking up knocks and doesn't seem to ever try to hide the fact - when I played as a centreback if I got hurt in the game there was no way I was going to highlight the fact and give the opposition striker the scent of weakness.

Think it was quite genuine this time.
The injury probably occurred having make a desperate challenge due to the players around him constantly giving the ball away putting our defence under unnecessary pressure in the last ten minutes

Anybody else think that's risky and not impressive? ...Especially as he doesn't have it under control. Great player Pontus ...don't do it again

I'm more concerned about Peacock-Farrell flapping at yet another 25 yard shot
And Ayling clattering a Rovers player unnecessary in our box
Hardly clattered him from what I saw on telly. It was a silly challenge to make, but tbh I thought it was a dive. No way the amount of contact caused that reaction.
Pontus was at it all afternoon... glad he's confident and enjoying his football, but if he loses the ball there he's left a 1- or 2-on-1 for BPF.
