Imagine Phil has to be careful with his line of questioning to keep "in the know".

I expect the next time we see him will be in the FA Cup 3rd round.
It's shocking to me - one mistake at Cardiff, no forgiveness, unless there's some other falling out between him and TC.
At least Ekuban has been given a chance so who knows.

I suppose a measure of punishment for the tweet is in order, but he was being punished before the tweet.

Just presume Tc for whatever reason doesnt rate him.
But TC was appointed on 15/6/17.
Klich signed 23/6/17.

So presumably TC was aware of his arrival (Orta insists all signings have TCs approval).

So if TC didnt rate him surely he would have said so and saved us £1.5m.

Can only reason 1) TC doesnt rate him, i think thats unlikely, seems a decent player to me, good record not afraid of a tackle but has a goal threat.

Or

2) There has been a falling out and he is being frozen out for it. If thats the case then hopefully in time thet can work it out.

Didnt set the world alight yesterday, but its fair to say that he was no worse then Phillips and probably better then Shaunie.

Thought he looked composed, quite calm whenever he received the ball, perhaps a bit to calm at times seeing as we needed a goal.

According to the stats (yes some dont like stats thats fair enough) but it does merge in to the above bit.

Kalvin Phillips-17 passes, 64.7% accuracy.
Shaughnessy- 38 passes, 50% accuracy.
Klich- 16 passes, 81.3% accuracy.

Kind of what youd expect comparing 2 kids to an experienced international who has captained a top flight side in a decent league.

Wasnt the worst player on the pitch.

tidy on the ball, closed down when he could, rusty clearly, but for such limited game time (on a poor day) he did ok.

Passing was good, certainly better then some of the sloppy play we have seen from our midfield this season.

Agree with this, probably the best player on the pitch after Beradi and he's showing some quality. Look forward to seeing him in the league cup next season now

Please please please TC, get over whatever issues you have between you and Klich.

Hug it out or whatever.

Give him a proper chance now, 3 games with Phillips or even better with Vieira.

He said he is a box to box midfielder when he signed, so Vieira would be better.

TC obviously doesn't think Klich is putting in enough on the training pitch

An assist and a 90% pass accuracy today for Klich in Utrecht 4-1 win vs Roda.

61 passes played, 90% completed, most on the pitch.

Assist was quality, clever dinked pass, earning good reviews in Holland, i hope we keep an eye on him, he is really impressing over there.

That's two wins out of two for Utrecht since Klich joined them

Why send him out on loan when you're going to sack the manager who won't play him?

Another good performance from Klich apparantly.

Most touches of any player on the pitch, 81 passes made with a 76% accuracy, not bad, more passes then anyone in his team apart from 3 of the backi 4, double his midfield partner.

Majority of his passes were in the opponents half, so attacking passes. Heat map shows he spent most of his time attacking. Couple of blocks and interceptions to show.

Another assist in there too I hear, is that 4 wins in a row since he joined ?

Yep 4 wins out of 5, one of there top performers apparently in all the wins, no assist this time , least not according to WhoScored.com.

The plot thickens. Our original marquee signing could even possibly have saved TC's job. I suppose we'll never know the true story, but I hope he comes back and PH uses him.
