Fulham have only won once at home - now 4 times away.
Reading now 2-2 90+2

That has been Fulham's achilles heel Norm. Drawn six of their home games

Have a little faith Swan. The potential is there - TC is learning, maybe in fits and starts, how to unleash our good stuff. I think he'll learn it a little faster now, having 2 really good results post our first defeat. The shock is fading and his knowledge is gaining. Same with our new (potentially excellent) imports. Once they get their feet under the table they'll feel more at home and we may see more consistency. For all we've had a go at Orta (me included), he really hasn't done a bad job. Some of our newbies are bloody good - they just need time to develop and fill out a bit - and get used to playing with each other - and we'll be back knocking on the door again.

Agree.

Season isnt over yet, nobody has achieved anything, from top of the league to the bottom.

Theres been bright points, and while disappointing yesterday for a spell in the second half we had a very expensive Wolves side rocking.

Should have been out of sight in the first half, but they wernt, and we had them on the ropes till the sending off.

Our defence is a concern, always will be till it fixed, but attacking wise we have some real quality, the goal, the pass from Saiz, the vision to see it and skill to do it, plus the run and movement from Ali and the finish, that was all round class and wouldn't have looked out of place in any league.

Defence needs fixing, Klich needs a chance, but we have the players to hold our own till January, whereby when hopefully we can sign whats required and push on.

What does worry me a little bit is how consistent those teams occupying the top 6 are, for that reason I can see the points target for the top 6 being high again like last season, my guess at this stage would be that we will need over 76 points for the top 6 this season, last season 6th placed Fulham finished on 80 points and I certainly wouldn't rule out a similar figure being required this time around.
So we need to be aiming for at least 46-50+ points from our remaining 27 for the play offs imo, we aren't a million miles away from achieving that but the January transfer window is going to be crucial for us.

Ipswich go above us

Bristol City & the Blunts are 7 points clear of us with Villa 6 points & Derby 5 points ahead in the 6th place after this weekends results

Really needed a victory v Villa to keep the gap tighter, unfortunately we blew it. A win is essential at Loftus Road next Saturday

Jota (Birmingham one) looks a shadow of his former self.

Birmingham were poor, 0 attacking threat despite a decent 2nd half till the sending off.

Had Birmingham taken better care of the ball the goal they conceded wouldn't have happened.

By all accounts Bristol City rode their luck, great win for the Robins though
