Reading v Leeds - Team/News/Reports/Ratings

Post by 1964white »

Here we go, a game where they'll require two footballs as both teams pass the ball around in their own half in this top five clash  hopefully not !

Team providing we have no injury concerns :

Green

Berardi Bartley Jansson Taylor

Bridcutt Vieira

Sacko Hernandez Pedraza

Wood

It seems like he's missed two games

If he was available Ges, what would preferred three be ?

I would move Ayling into right midfield , I feel we struggle there.

With the mentality the squad has at the moment after beating Brighton, i wouldn't be surprised if we went on and got a decent draw here. We have no injuries and i feel all/any of the players are capable of winning this game.

So Ailing is out and Pontus in, thats an easy swap.... and just goes to show we have strength in depth. Chris woods up front. Bridcutt and Philips, is he available? However the midfield is where Gary likes to mix it up. He says they are tactical decisions depending on the opposition but i do feel that he just doesn't have a fixed 11. Saying that, why fix it if it isn't broken. At the presser he did say our adaptability is part of our advantage, and i see that, the players that start the game, don't necessary end the game. GM is so good tactically with substitutes.

This game may test another part of this team but so far we have being passing all the tests, even without a lot of possession, which seemed to have improved dramatically against Brighton...

Bridcutt, O kane,
Roofe, Hernadez, Perazza

That would be my midfield selection against

Amazing how Garry Monk is making his mark and not long back we that's most of us we're questioning his start in' eleven and substitutions.

With Stamm and his team writing the team talk, it's on Sky, the Brighton win, massive confidence in the team and Monk tactics I'm expecting a win and I'm hoping we smash them, put a couple of quid on 4-0 Leeds Come on Leeeeds

We have had our best people... believe me the very best people of this job.
The microwave is rigged up to listen into the half time talk so we will be aware
of any tactical moves they make... not that it will matter cos we already know
the only moves they make are sideways and backwards. Stam has been on to
old red nose for some pointers on how to win the game, but I told Alec not to get
involved... believe me... it's true Okay?

Reading... McDermott... Stam... all losers. never should have been in the Premier league.
Hoity toity whipper snappers too big for their boots... bad hombres... not the best people.
I have had a talk with Elizabeth that she should sue their asses for calling themselves the
Royals... so disrespectful... the libel laws need to be changed to deal with this.
I have advised Garry that the Leeds supporters should file for a class action against Stam and
Yann Kermorgant for deformation of character... they would win BIGLY... believe me,,, Okay?

Kermorgant now a name like that is definitely foreign and if you let foreigners into the country
they will be taking our jobs and stealing our women. These footballing foreigners are the thin
end of the wedge, and the UK needs to build a wall to stop them coming in... gun boats in the English
channel... Ms May is doing a great job... tremendous job... absolutely unbelievable... in pushing through
Brexit... it's true believe me... where was I... Oh yes the Reading game... big victory for Leeds.
Football is coming home... like clean coal from Newcastle. Let's make Leeds great again.

Just listened to Garry Monk pre match interview. Asked about Jansson he said that he was supposed to be on the bench, but pulled himself out of the squad because he felt a tweak in his hamstring. I hope I'm very wrong but watching Monk and reading between the lines, I hope that the 'disagreement' that Monk and Jansson had isn't deeper than we thought. Is Jansson saying to Monk that if he doesn't want to play him, then he doesn't want to play for him. ( Am I reading too much into this?)
