To me not an inspired appointment, things I've been reading today have not been very complementary. If he reads the forums( don't think managers can help them selves reading them, so I'm told) he has got to be less than happy with what's been said about him but if it's true about his character, then he probably doesn't give a flying one.
Some saying it's as bad as the appointment of Hockaday, I wouldn't go that far, at least he does have some experience at this level.
One thing in his favour though , expectations are very low, so if he is an immediate failure then it's what's expected but anything of a run and he goes up in peoples estimation.
While he's manager I will give as much of a chance as I give anyone and live in hope he makes a difference, he's only got 10-12 games to prove himself if Cellino sticks to his normal timescale of assessing managers.
Best of luck Steve . you're really going to need it.

Well said Gessa, think you have echoed the sentiments of most leeds fans. We want him to succeed where so many others of late have failed ( or been given the chance to ) but deep down, we are sceptical as hell that he is guy we need

I'll go along with that, he'll have my full backing and as you say expectations are pretty low so any improvement in results will be most welcome.
On a separate note, I can't believe the number of pathetic people on social media stating "f*** you Leeds I'm done", it's not the clubs fault just the lunatics running it.

To be fair I hope Steve does really well, he does come across as a nice, passionate guy at least he has experience of surviving relegation and we may well need it
