An Ode to UKIP
(Hugely ripped off from ALW's Jesus Christ Superstar)
Farage on their minds
My mind is clearer now
At last all too well I can see
Where we all soon may be.
If you strip away the booze from the man
You will see what he wants us to be.
FARAGE!
They've started to believe
The things that come from you
You really do believe
That one locked door will do!
The butts from fags you've smoked
Will soon be swept away
You've begun to matter more
Than anything you say!
Listen Farage
I don't like what I see
All I ask is that you listen to me
And remember
Your wife has been Teutonic all along
You have set them all on fire
With talk of immigration liars
And they'll vote for you although you're wrong
I remember when this whole thing began
No policies no talk of NHS canned
And believe me
My revulsion of you hasn't died.
But every word you say today
Gets reported on some other way
And they think you care for national pride.
Dulwich's most famous son
Should have stayed a great unknown
Like his father trading dosh
He'd have made good.
Hedge funds, shares and trading chests
Would have suited Farage best
He'd have caused nobody harm
No one alarm.
Listen Farage, do you care for your race?
Why must everybody stay in one place?
We diversified
Have you forgotten how enriched we are?
I am frightened by your crowd
For they are getting much too loud
And they'll crush us if they go too far
If they go too far.
Listen Farage to the warning I give
Can't you see these people just want to live?
But it's sad to see tolerance weakening with ev'ry hour
All your followers are blind
Too much UKIP on their minds
It was beautiful, but now it's sour
Yes it's all gone sour
Ah --- ah ah ah --- ah
God Farage, it's all gone sour
Listen Farage to the warning I give
Please remember that I want us to live
So come on, come on, listen to me.
Ah --- ah
Come on, listen, listen to me.
Come on and listen to me.
Ah --- ah

An Ode to UKIP
In honour of his beliefs, we should all pronounce Farage to rhyme with garage the English way - Farridge - and not the American gararge.

Very good!
Re: An Ode to UKIP
Farage can't do any worse than Cameron or miliband. Do we really want a return of socialism which is back door communism. Plus I'm sick of the migration is good brigade ramming it down my throat. Farage for number 10

Farage is a complete clown....and on the off chance I'm wrong and there is the tiniest bit of decent politician there...there's absolutely nothing behind him.....an accumulated IQ of 10 I reckon

An Ode to UKIP
I don't mind him tbh
Re: An Ode to UKIP
I'm not a UKIP voter or supporter (wait for it) ....but Farage does have his uses. His don't give a s**t attitude and willingness to tattle tale on how politics in the country and Europe actually works is very interesting. Not only that but I think he probably does (in their own minds) represent a sizeable portion of this country who are generally unhappy with politics. Racist or not they will get votes this year and could be the 3rd biggest party after the G E. Really though it's all just a symptom of the under lying problem with this country which is that in my eyes we are not properly represented by our politicians, we have a vote but no real voice beyond that. Immigration is a raw nerve for a lot of people and it's a rallying cry for a lot of those people and rightly so, we had unchecked immigration during the Blair years and clearly we let some right bell-ends in. Ultimately though I'd say he was as sleazy as a lot of other politicians, but I wouldn't say more so. Having a sensible approach to immigration as do Australia seems to make sense to me, not that we actually control our borders any more mind....
