Relegation Battle?
With a side lacking in Championship experience, an inability to string passes together that come to any sort of even half a chance on goal with no clear cut leader in the camp we're relegation fodder at the minute...
All the talent in the world doesn't make up for a lack of a leader with some physical presence on the field and a defence that looks like it's been cobbled together on the back of a fag packet...
I'm no Mystic Meg... but I can see Redder's subs coming a mile off.... He needs to have a serious reshuffle of the pack, and drop the Diamond that served Hockaday so well...

Re: Relegation Battle?
Regrettably I think so too mate.
Not good enough and looks aren't deceiving.
We don't seem be ,I don't know the correct words but we are average at best.
Why I say this is there's no steady stand out player really for me.At this rate any of last season's midfield could match this present one
Again I hate personalizing but three or four aren't just good enough. We are pies poor at the back and certainly very, very vulnerable. The clock is ticking and no one of course should whatever about thinking, but don't believe that we're too good for that to happen.

Re: Relegation Battle?
We are in the mire and with no brains, fight or guile I fear it now. Didn't a couple of weeks back but do now for sure. Cellino said he was going to 'drive the bus', lets assume he knows the way to Shrewsbury and Burton.
Re: Relegation Battle?
There is no doubt we are playing very very poor but I still think we will be ok. We need some luck that's for sure. Plenty of time yet.
Re: Relegation Battle?
A change of formation would do a world of good.

Re: Relegation Battle?
Come on. It's not like Leeds fans to lose faith halfway through a season?!
Re: Relegation Battle?
If there is one thing that is a constant, is some Leeds supporters throwing the club/managers/players/owners under the bus whenever they get a bit disgruntled.MOTliam wrote:Come on. It's not like Leeds fans to lose faith halfway through a season?!

Re: Relegation Battle?
But it's not Redder's formation, is it?
Hockaday played the diamond
Redders Mk 1 played the diamond
Milanic played the diamond
Redders now plays the diamond
Only constant is the hand of MassiMing the Merciless. It's his formation, innit.

Redders take note:

loses makes but few calculations beforehand.

Re: Relegation Battle?
The one constant of this and other similar threads is that several posters are saying we're crap but some of those who say we're crap are now accusing others who agree of giving up and saying we're going down.
There has to be at least that possibility, but what are the possible alternatives (duh, like staying up - I get it, I get it!)?
So, I would like to ask the ones who think we really are crap yet don't think we're going to be relegated, what can or should be done to give us the best chance of remaining in the Championship or even blitzing our way up the table with 22 consecutive wins?
MC holds the key to not only the purse strings and the style of play, but also the players' choice for underwear, the national debt, immigration and gay marriage - maybe even the long-term weather forecast.
faaip is the only one who says we won't be relegated but I'd like to join him!
Blind faith maybe but that's my thought.
Happy New Year everyone.

Re: Relegation Battle?
A coach out of his depth, players with little championship experience and an owner who apparently is the manager, picking the team and tactics, it's hard to believe, but Redders playing the diamond and still picking Doukara, Austin and Bianchi, it just might be true.
All this equals relegation, something has to change.

When the ball hits the goal, it's not Shearer or Cole, it's ...... Antenucci.
