There are some oddities.

On my iMac I don't have a logout button, nor can I see user control panel. On my MaBook Pro all is normal.

Both running Chrome, both on OS X Mavericks (was same with Mountain Lion)

I've seen that before. To do with how different browsers handsle DIVs and CSS float settings.

Thought I had fixed it on most browsers, will take a look.

Yeah, thought I'd fixed it since then.

I'll take a look again but it shows up for me in IE and Chrome.

Just checked here on IE & Comodo Chrome and got son's pal to check on Firefux  - no probs....However, I did notice the other day that the "post reply" button was missing. Was just "post reply" in normal type, but the link worked. I refreshed MOT and the button returned.

As I say, everything fine on the MacBook , haven't had a logout option on the iMac in 14 months. Luckily the forum had no problem with me being logged on simultaneously on several devices so it's not a biggie
