I’d seen some adverts for this, but thought it was an on-line promo gimmick, with one of the big betting companies doing it for publicity (and betting revenue, as I’m sure you’ll be able to bet on it). Didn’t realise it was on TV.

For someone who has never even played an Xbox etc...game in my life I’ve got no chance with picking a winner (Poker Party if it was running was my outsider hunch) :duno:

Is it worth considering a VIRTUAL GRAND NATIONAL competition?

Say predicting the first six.....points given for horses finishing in the first six plus bonus points for predicting nags in the correct finishing positions

Pick 10 horses.

All that finish in the top 10 get a point. But then bonus points for predicting correct finishing positions of top 4, so:
1st - 10pts
2nd - 5pts
3rd - 3pts
4th - 2pts

So if within your 10 picks you predicted correctly 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th and also get another 3 in positions 5th to 10th you would get
7 x 1pt - 7pts
1st - 10pts
2nd - 5pts
3rd - 3pts
4th - 2pts

so in total - 27 pts

Does that sound a bit complicated ???? :duno:

64 and Ges - I'm assuming that the order you've written them in is the order (1st to 10th) you think they'll finish ?

Could others put them
1st - ?
2nd - ?
and so on down to
10th - ?

…..just makes it easier when working out scores :)
