Great horse was L'Escargot from the 70's
Red Rum also a top class chaser who won the Grand National three times but not the Cheltenham Gold Cup

Only other course I can think of starting with the letter T is Thirsk but that is a Flat Racing racetrack

The only town I can think of in the North starting with a T is Tadcaster, surely not the finest course in the north
