At last my luck turns, and thanks to a 20/1 winner,I take the final day honours. Harry also lands the 20/1 shot, and his three winners almost overhauls Muppet. However, the cautious approach works for Muppet, and he manages to hang on to his lead to take the Goodwood 2018 Champion title. Muppet, Harry and Nick share the Most Winners title. It is losses of varying degrees for everybody else, as we get back to the mundane of the NAP comp tomorrow. As usual my thanks to you all for making it an enjoyable, if not productive, meeting.
Thanks Gandi, I don't know if the 3 NR's were a blessing or not. I do seem to have somewhat fortunate to say the least though, especially given the storming day both Harry and yourself had (since inhabiting this thread I don't think I've seen someone win >£200 on a single pick/race  - so fair play).

NAP of the Day
5.10 Chester - Red Force One £5 e/w (which will be my last pick for a couple of weeks)

Can I also excuse myself for the next two Saturday competitions (or do I need a note from my Mum) as holidays beckon.
Spookily enough, however we are going to a race meeting next Saturday as where we're staying is very near the island's race track and a day there, mixing with the locals is strongly recommended it seems. Will only be the second ever time I've actually been to a race meeting  :) :moggy:

Thanks Harry & Ges. A fluke, to be sure as I think you all probably know way more about the nags than me.

But I'll take it, as a 'Champion' title is not to be sniffed at !!!! :)

Well done Cat, as a novice you achieved what us experienced campaigners failed to do :clape: unlucky Harry, so so close just a cat's whisker away

Well done Muppet, hard luck H and thanks, as always, to Gandi. Tough festival to find winners at, but enjoyable nonetheless.
