Re: Manchester United v Leeds United - 6-2 - MOTM
Can’t pick anyone today, very disappointed, highest score I’d give anyone is five but Klich was supposed to be marking the guy who scored two in three minutes, Phillips was on Rashford. Bielsa said he took them off at half time because we needed to win the ball in midfield. Klich has been a 5 at mos...

Re: Leeds v Newcastle Match Thread - Unchanged starting XI to face Magpies
that's extremely harsh on coops, he wins a lot in the air in fact: coops: headers won 43, lost 30 koch: headers won 31, 25 ayling: headers won 23, 17 ...better heading stats than koch He has a couple of mistakes in him a game, he goes to ground far too often, at set pieces our CBS are too weak. I l...

Re: Today's Games
Hate saying this but until we’re 100% safe from relegation I’d prefer Sheffield U to lose. I want to enjoy each PL game without too much pressure, no fears of being dragged into a dog fight, no desire to start worrying we’re only a couple of defeats away of dropping into the zone. The more West Brom...

Re: Leeds v Newcastle Match Thread - Unchanged starting XI to face Magpies
We need to address our defensive problems at the back Cooper & Ayling win very few crosses, both decent on the ground but surely CB's are suppose to be dominant in the air. To be fair to Ayling he shouldn’t be playing the CB role, Cooper rarely wins anything in the air and he loves going to gro...

Re: Jack Harrison
Tin hat on. I thought he was poor for the majority of the game. But the two biggest moments of quality were his assist and goal. Tbf to JH we know he has ability, the goal vs Liverpool for example. And wingers are generally inconsistent, the better ones less so. Jack is still extremely inconsistent...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 15th December) - Should Marcelo Bielsa make changes for the Newcastle game?
When Costa came on for Harrison against West Ham something was terribly wrong, he just didn’t try. It was the worst 45 minutes I’ve seen him play. I think his head has gone and I wouldn’t be surprised if he just finds Bielsaball too draining. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him gone next season. I ag...

Re: Marcelo Bielsa
Yeah, me too Velo. He's an amazing person who, along with the management team, have turned around our fortunes very quickly. I think the opportunity to prove himself at the top level will keep him here for a at least a few more seasons. But he's his own man and might just turn round and retire at a...

Positive - 5 Different Goal Scorers
Negative - Bielsa still believes man to man marking at set pieces is the way to go.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 8th December) Championship trio line up for Hernandez
he came up trumps several times at the end of last season, but he had spells in between where we was slow, off the pace and carried by the workrate of the rest of the team and seemed perpetually injured love him, but he'll struggle in the prem at 35 (in my opinion - he's barely played so noone know...

Re: Pablo Hernandez
Pablo was on managed time even last season. Was never going to be the main man at 35. A major step up in quality of opposition and another year older, not done any favours. Would be nice to see him get a few games in here and there but only if he can show he’s still good enough. Games in this leagu...

Re: Pablo Hernandez
Well I beg to differ an ageing Pablo is not good enough for the Premier League and more importantly one of the greatest coaches in the world thinks that too. So some on here think they’re better at judging Pablo than Bielsa? When he has had a chance he has looked poor, stop judging a good Championsh...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 8th December) Championship trio line up for Hernandez
Without Pablo last season we were poor, he made us tick. Klich is much more comfortable with the master in the team Pablo was involved in the most goals/assists in the championship last season Our midfield should read : Hernandez, Klich, Rodrigo, Raphinha Those four make our midfield look total cla...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 8th December) Championship trio line up for Hernandez
Afternoon all.. Pablo move him on and use his wages for a decent January signing. LB we desperately need a quality one, Dallas is okay in the position and Alioski is piss poor apart from the odd time we forget about the lack of defensive qualities because his shone in attack. Creative midfield playe...

Re: Pablo Hernandez
Am I the only one that wants to see Pablo moved on and his wage used on someone who will actually make a difference in the PL? Stop living in the past of last season, I’ve said many times Pablo will have nothing to offer this season, the PL is too fast for him, he wouldn’t make any other team in the...
