Re: I'll asked the question again

The basis of the argument is that this is not the time to change the manager, especially considering the dearth of good options, and the fact that we only have half a defence. A new man would not be able to bring in new blood until the summer, so we stick with what we have got. Is TC the man to tak...

Re: I'll asked the question again

If McLaren was at Elland Road yesterday, I want to change my vote to TC staying. Lmao.

Re: I'll asked the question again

I think he can only turn things around if he has the balls to change the formation, and start Dallas, and give Roberts a place on the bench at least. Then make changes with at least twenty minutes to go, and attack.

Re: I'll asked the question again

I've always been a big believer in giving managers time. I've just about run out of patience now though. TC got the job because he said he'd change things when they aren't working . He doesn't. Poor Grot isn't ready, but TC keeps making him suffer. Roofe & Alioski haven't put a decent ball in th...

Re: Leeds v Cardiff - MAN OF THE MATCH

Vote for your best three players Wiedwald Berardi Pennington Jansson De Bock Alioski Vieira Forshaw Hernandez Roofe Lasogga Dallas Sacko Grot Lasogga apart from hitting the bar instead of scoring, he played well today. Forshaw did everything well. Not likely to win the ball as often as Kalvin, but ...

Re: January transfer rumours and squad discussion

Andrea is building us a solid core. Weidwald in place. Pontus in place. Samu and Pablo in place. Forshaw and De Bok possibly.
Kalvin and Ronaldo in place, and gaining experience ready for the step up.
Is there an emergency loan window like in the summer?

Re: January transfer rumours and squad discussion

The strategy all seems to be pinned on " buying cheaply and hoping they make it good " I know there are no guarantees with spending big bucks but one would have thought we would have gone for a little more in this window. Yes we have spent £10m but as Noel Whelan rightly said the other da...

Re: January transfer rumours and squad discussion

@8ballali: #DeadlineDay Apparently Jay Roy Grot of #lufc could be sold today.
Sources believe a bid believed to be in the region of £50, has been received by Leeds United, from McDonald's. A new limited edition McGrot burger is expected to go on sale shortly. #MOT

Re: January signings

Agree yes we need a striker but this signing seems like yet another Orta disaster imo! Since Antenucci joined SPAL, he has scored 24 goals in 51 appearances, and they are (now) playing in Serie A. Antenucci was a good striker. We just didn't feed him the ball to feet. High balls in the area suit bi...

http://sportwitness.co.uk/second-source-confirms-e7m-leeds-united-transfer-e5m-paid-front/ If true then can someone explain how £5mill up front (forget the 2mil add ons). How is that a good deal for a striker whose not made it to 50 career goals in 8 years in Serie B? Thats a lot of money for someo...

Re: January transfer rumours and squad discussion

The club clearly has a stratagey, they are looking to build a solid foundation, one the club has not had for a long time, a solid youth squad is an important start, one which they are investing, wisely, who knows. But can people stop moaning about it! How many times have we seen clubs like Swansea,...

Re: January signings

Yeah, Dack went to Blackburn for 750k plus add ons, Dean cost Birmingham £1.5m, Maddison was available in the summer for about £1m before he signed a new deal on the last day of the transfer window. Oh I see. I was thinking of Marriott. He was £6m. I thought Maddison was a winger. I haven't seen th...

Im still sad about Dean, Dack and Maddison who would have cost the same combined as Saiz on his own
I thought Saiz was only £3.5m wasn't he?

Re: January signings

I am just glad we never got a fans consortium running the club and just going to splash loads of cash on proven players every time because we all know that every proven player is automatically going to be a success so definitely worth paying over the odds. No point having people at the club who can...

Re: January signings

https://www.footballinsider247.com/sources-leeds-will-not-make-january-signings/ :( Some things never change I think that's probably bulls*it. We have Roofe and Super Lasogga, but other than that, Wilks was the closest to a place on the bench as an out and out centre-forward, and we've let him go o...

Re: January signings

Seems fairly obvious to me. We are trying to get in as many promising youngsters as we can because the success rate of promising youngsters becoming really good first team footballers is low so we are simply improving the odds that we will get some good players in future years. I just don't see why...

Re: January transfer rumours and squad discussion

He has a 5 goals in 6 games record when starting as the main striker. He is versatile which TC said early on he wanted his players to be. Can't complain at five goals in six games. I'd prefer someone experienced in our league, but he sounds worth a risk. I'm surprised we don't get many Argentinians...

Re: January transfer rumours and squad discussion

Mahi is a left-winger. We need a centre-forward.
