Once is luck, twice is lucky, three times is very lucky. What is eight or nine or ten times?

Re: Watford v Leeds Utd Post Match Discussion

The first half was bad. We didn't appear to want it enough. Dominated the second and we could have stolen it at the end. It would have been nice to get the win and stay top but I'm happy we got the one point. It will probably all change again on Monday.

Re: The World Has Gone Mad!!!

I think that's semantics and likely implied by the OP, but even if not, why single out immigrants when British people are as bad, maybe worse? .... It's not Sara in the wrong here. I don't think it is semantics. In your mind it is but not in mine, Because not all immigrants are like that but he is ...

Re: Hate speech

Democratically elected governments historically spent their time and our money trying to improve the lot of the majority, while looking after the weakest. In the past, most people had a thing called “personal pride”. This characteristic meant that seeking assistance from the government was a last r...

Re: The World Has Gone Mad!!!

You have accused me of misinterpreting the comment. I'm asking you to justify that accusation by showing me where my interpretation is wrong. You are way over reacting Sara. Your interpretation is wrong because he states "look at the immigrants that come here and treat it like the shithole the...

I think we are over loaded with information and it's got to the point where most of the time we see/hear something and our reaction is "next.......".

Re: General Chat

Not been on the forum for a few days, had to say goodbye to my best mate on Tuesday (see avatar picture). He would have been 15 in September, he joined us at 2 years old, and he has been at our side every single day ever since, literally every day, some 4,500 days in total. Absolutely devastated, b...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 20th March) Phillips linked with Elland Road return

None of our members would have left Leeds had they been offered the moon by playing for the best team in the world. Also, Kalvin may have realised, Leeds were on a downward spiral after Bielsa was sacked. 99.99% of us would have done the same thing. I would never criticize him for doing that...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 20th March) Phillips linked with Elland Road return

I don't want him back. He went for the big money and it didn't work out in terms of him actually playing and getting better. Now he looks average at best and still has a terrible injury history. If we could get him for 10 million or less and he would accept Ampadu/Kamara level wages then yes, give h...

It would be nice to have Pascal fit and sat on the bench. If he was fit I think it would be a terrible mistake to change what has been a solid defense while on our impressive 2024 run.

Re: Premier League debate

So the EPL have decided 4 points is an appropriate punishment for violating its rules. It doesn't seem to me to be much of a deterrent to stop teams doing it. Surely Forest have benefitted by more than 4 points for cheating?

I was a computer analyst and programmer forever. I used to love it but during the last few years I couldn't wait until I retired. The industry completely changed and the emphasis changed from having smart, knowledgeable experts into a process driven "anyone can do it" philosophy. Having to...
