Yet another one gone!

What a stinker of a year already for music! The latest loss is Dale Griffin, one of the founder members of Mott the Hoople, and drummer for David Bowie. The same age as me, and dies from the effects of Alzheimers Disease, horrible. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-3405850/Mott-Hoople-dru...

If Hooper is at the end of his loan period with the Wendies, why aren't we trying to snatch him out from under their noses?

Re: Sheff Wed v Leeds - MAN OF THE MATCH

Bellusci for me, I felt that Forestieri was given the job of winding him up, just look how many times they clashed throughout the game. Teams know he can be hotheaded, and work on that. Fair play to him, he kept to his task and didn't let the early yellow card put him off, rode his luck, and. got th...

What everyone else has said Leon, senseless loss, it seems there are so many of these accidents involving foreign drivers, it makes you wonder what their standards are like 'back home'.
Commiserations mate.

Like barryanorak, he's never been among my favourites, but I do appreciate what a seminal writer and performer he has always been. His death is probably a loss to equal that of John Lennon and Freddy Mercury.
Sleep well David.

Absolutely agree about Bellusci, doing the job his club captain should be doing, but just felt that Carayol had an almost instantaneous effect, and his goal was superbly taken.

Re: Leeds v Rotherham - Team/Reports/Ratings

A master craftsman performance from Bellusci, shame he may have pulled a hamstring late on in the game. Carayol lit up a drab match with a majestic strike, he is in an elite club of two at ER who can shoot ! Young Lewie Coyle impressed on his full debut whilst Bridcutt was as industrious as ever. A...

I have not spent more than £250 on a car in the last 5 years... I buy cheap, and run until the MOT is due... if it feels as though the car will pass without any work on it... I put it through.. if not I sell either scrap or on flea bay, and then buy cheap again... If expensive repairs are needed......

Re: New Years Honours.....

Thatcher knew all about both Saville and Smith's proclivities, was advised not to, but still sanctioned their honours. Whilst worthy people deserve to be recognised, the establishment is rotten to its core and, as such, honours bestowed by it are tainted, imo. Perhaps we should also be looking at t...
