Sounds like England were pretty good overall. Just problems in defence. But also far from their regular first choice back line.

In my school you either supported Leeds or Liverpool. And since Liverpool were supreme, was happy to see Everton do well back then.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 26th March) - Dutch media predicting €40m Summerville exit
We need to keep as many of our leading players as possible next season - (that's assuming promotion, if not we're losing our top players regardless) Projecting next season. We have 3 on loan. We have a few expiring contracts. And (if promoted) we have a few that can't even get in the championship si...

Foden Bellingham Sakha stones Kane rice All nailed on starters Problems lie with the other 4 outfield choices which are defensive positions Pickford and Walker are certainties. Either Chilwell or Shaw at left back is fine. Leaves 2 questions: Maguire. And who else plays in midfield. Against weak op...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 25th March)
Charlie Taylor gets talked about every window. Worth talking about if we're still in the championship. But not if we get promoted. Talked about the points so many times across other threads, 2 really good teams are going to miss out. But maybe someone will lose their nerve and fold. As it is, we jus...

Re: Same Old England fall to Brasil
I didn't think England were as bad as some made out. Although we didn't test their keeper much we were in their box a lot. We had plenty of chances to score too. Not too worried by the performance as a whole. I do wish Southgate would drop Foden back into midfield. But he was restricted quite a bit ...

Tyler Adams just scored with an absolute rocket from about 35 yards out to give the US a 1-0 lead over Mexico in the CONCACAF Nations League Cup on the stroke of halftime. Damn. Had no idea of that game tonight. Good win for US. Looks like they played their best team. But Mexico hasn't been that gr...

Would have been very surprised if Summerville had been given a full call up from the championship. If he was close, he had a quieter time over the past month or so. Wales boys shouldn't be too much to worry about. It's basically like a Tuesday night away game to Swansea or Cardiff. Should be in thei...

So Leicester now charged by the EPL for breaches of P&S that’s all 3 clubs that finished just above us last season - how do you square the circle that we sold our best players to stay in the rules and got relegated whilst cheating teams stayed in The league and now have paltry points deductions...

Longstaff would be decent summer business. And while not being the most exciting signing, certainly fits the bill a lot better than some of the overseas gambles we've taken. Would rather have him than Roca, for example. Given that our squad will be light on numbers next season, it makes sense to tak...

Re: Pre Watford match chat.
Farke said he hoped to have Rutter back for this game. Seems a big ask. Piroe is most likely replacement. Farke has played him at 10 plenty. Firpo is a very late return. But Byram is due a game anyway. I had to look up Tom Cleverly's age. It only seemed like yesterday when he was starting his career...

All talk of Man City selling. He has a contract till 2028. West Ham have paid a loan fee of £4-6mil according to the media and are covering some of his wages which are well over £100k. West Ham discussed a transfer option but decided against it when Man City wanted £40mil They aren't selling for 50...
