Those type of days are becoming all too familiar and we can't put it all down to misfortune.

Surely Edmondson couldn't do any worse than Bamford. Give the lad a proper start.
No argument from me regarding Edmondson, he should have been on the bench ever since Nketiah went back

It looks like being one of those days...that penalty was so poor. Why didn't Pablo take it?

I don't think we played particularly badly that half but nothing is going for us around their box. And Bamford should have done better with the one he ballooned over.

Pallo back for Leeds, Dallas to left back....

Leeds Starting XI:
Casilla, Ayling, White, Cooper, Dallas, Phillips, Klich, Harrison, Costa, Hernandez, Bamford

Subs: Meslier, Casey, Alioski, Struijk, McCalmont, Shackleton, Stevens
Very young bench. Is Robbie Gotts injured?

No Gotts, Shackleton, Stevens or Casey so it looks like they have all travelled with the first team.

Mallik Wilks gone to Hull from Barnsley, does that pave the way for Bowen's departure
Yeah they're gonna replace their 10 million pound striker with someone who can't get a game for Barnsley.....

Re: Supporting Leeds United (Welcome & Introductions)

Hello Whites! So I have been supporting Leeds since 1979. My brother after years of me asking finally took me to see Leeds v Liverpool when Phil Thompson was ruined by the Kop Chants. I think it was 1-1. When I was old enough I watched Leeds through thick and thin home and away for years. Howard Wi...

Re: Wayne Rooney's Derby County Need Crowdfunding

That's gone quickly. Can still feel the panic between it being announced and finding out what it was about. A 12 point deduction would slot Derby in nicely between Wigan and Luton. I'd love it if they went down. I'm not a vindictive person by nature but so would I Sara. Their holier than thou attit...

Leif Davis for me. Excellent no frills defender who does what he is supposed to...defend.
Dallas was excellent at RB when Ayling was injured and was very unlucky to be moved when Ayling returned.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 15th January) Is Emre Mor the answer to Leeds Prayers?

Exactly what I'm saying. We have 1 loosely termed striker at the club apart from Ryan and we let him out on loan . Goal scorers are hard to come by but we're letting him go like we are overrun with them. Crazy. Sent from my XT1032 using Tapatalk And yet we have something like 5 or 6 keepers on our ...

Could have done with Bristol staying in it really.
Not too concerned about BC but would like Brentford and Fulham to have a long cup run although they play Leicester and Man City in the next round so highly unlikely

Re: Ex-Championship Clubs In The Premiership

20 teams in our "elite division," maybe 5 or 6 that can never get relegated, another 2/3 that probably never will, leaving three down from 10 or 11 every season. Those ain't great odds...The premiership is basically 2 divisions in one. Play for Europe or Survival. If you survive you've had a good a...

What about taking a punt on Peterborough's Ivan Toney? Not exactly a 'stellar' signing I know but with 15 goals in 24 games this season he could be a useful squad addition if nothing else.
Apparently Charlton are set to make a bid for him.

Re: January Transfer Window And Squad Discussion

God, I hate the transfer windows with a passion..... All the uncertainty, rumours alleged quotes from "reliable sources" etc. It just does my head in. I'm as frustrated as anyone with the lack of dealings so far but the quicker the window closes the better as far as I'm concerned. Then we we will kn...

Re: Ex-Championship Clubs In The Premiership

I mean obviously i want us to go up otherwise as you say, no point. But i want us to go up with a genuine plan and ambition. Not just to take the money and run like the Norwich owners or just piss money up the wall signing anybody like the Villa ones. But Wolves have shown how you can do it, you re...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 13th January) Adams move to Elland Road will come at a cost

How many frigging goalkeepers have we now on our books? I see Harrison Male is on the bench for the U23'S today. It infuriates me when the club announce a youngster as a 'transfer window signing' This new keeper has zero chance of getting anywhere near the first team for the next couple of years at...
