Re: Final position

It all depends on the signings but there's nothing to fear from the teams in the bottom half of the Prem even with our current squad.
I think we'll finish around mid table.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 27th July) Leeds make formal approach for 30m striker

So now we're getting all the "I told you so's" because Brentford didn't get automatic promotion. They missed out on the last day after losing against a Barnsley team who were fighting for their lives (as we found out a week earlier), had the joint best goal difference and second best goals against. ...

I finished 8th despite forgetting to do my prediction several times.
I must remember to do it next season.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 27th July) Leeds make formal approach for 30m striker

Morning All, I know absolutely nothing about Jonathan David other than what I have read in the last few days, his recent scoring record is impressive so we'll see if the story gathers momentum in the next few days. No surprise at all that Carlos Corberan has enquired about some of our U23's. If they...

Re: The

Between £20 & £25 million as he cost the Bees just over £1m I watched the highlights of their game v Barnsley & he glided past four tykes defenders with ease & played a lovely pass into the path of one of their strikers, also a glorious pass later in the game. Benrahma reminds me of Pablo, would be...

Re: Eberechi Eze

I just mentioned Eze in the Cavani thread without seeing this one.
Absolutely we should be trying to sign him, he would suit our style perfectly as would Rhian Brewster.
If we got those two I would be very happy.

Re: Carlos Corberan gone

Good luck Carlos, have a great time, we’ll lend you a few under 23s and see you in a couple of years I'm fairly sure at least a couple of our U23's will end up there on loan next season. Probably not the ones currently making the first team squad but certainly some of the others. Very harsh on the ...

Re: Edinson Cavani

A definite no from me. His best days are well behind him and he's obviously looking for one final payday before he calls it a day. I doubt we can afford the sort of money he would be asking for anyway. We should be looking at getting players such as Eze from QPR, Benrahma (although Liverpool said to...

Re: Leeds Utd v Charlton Athletic - MATCH THREAD - Bielsa Names Strong Starting XI

The smiles on the faces of Poveda and Shakelton when they combined to make that goal were priceless. Did my heart good to see such joyous celebrations... long may it continue. We have a player in Poveda... low centre of gravity, tricky feet, and pace to burn, and not afraid to take his man on, yet ...

Re: Leeds Utd v Charlton Athletic - MATCH THREAD - Bielsa Names Strong Starting XI

Let's face it Brentford are the best of the four teams in the play offs and they finished third so they deserve to go up but things dont always work out that way. This season Northampton (where I'm originally from) finished 7th but won the play offs. The play offs are a lottery and any of the four c...

Meslier looks like he is going to be an excellent keeper so I'm glad this deal is being done.

Re: Predict The Championship 2019/20 Table (Finishing Positions)

Just looking at my predictions, I have got five of the top 6 but in the wrong order (only had Leeds 4th) I had Stoke rather than Forest. And I predicted Hull, Charlton and Barnsley to go down and that could well be the case.
