Been a white since I was 8, so that's 12 years ago now. First match was Bradford City Home 1999, Smith scored as well as Harte scoring a late penalty. ...

Re: Supporting Leeds

I know it seems stupid that a 3rd Div game vs Bristol could be the greatest Leeds experience of someone supporting Leeds for 40 years.....but I am struggling to remember anything as emotional. Many of our best experiences ended up as nearly moments e.g. Paris. Getting promoted under Wilko and even ...

Re: Supporting Leeds

I started supporting Leeds in the late 70s (after the glory years). At that point I only followed the game in South Africa but my best mate at school got me interested in English football. His mum from from Leeds so he supported Leeds and I followed suit. I follow Sydney FC in the local Australian ...

Re: O/T The Music Discussion Thread

WR, I've been away for a week so am only just catching up on the thread. Delighted about the Wyatt news - so delighted that I promise that you can have my copy of Hegarty's latest free of charge, saves me having moral pangs about whether CDs are recyclable or whether they should go in the landfill ...

Re: leeds v grimsby score

Impressions from one of my match reporters at the game Very impressed with Adam Clayton Faye - Steady, just short passes, didn't get forward much & prepared to sit back, put in a tackle when needed. PROMISING Sounds like our No.8 tbh  White, Somma & & the lazy burger eating scouser did well

Re: O/T The Music Discussion Thread

:roflmao: U2 really are ABYSMAL, ain't they? Like the Stones, they should have retired gracefully but didn't - and became a parody of themselves. At least the Stones were a great group once tho...U2 could never be called "great". Another MTV manipulation overkilled band. I have to disa...

Absolutely, but I'm not one to form an opinion on something straight away. Riot has a little work to do before you can completely relinquish the "Forum Grumpy Old Git" title. You are making excellent progress though. :-D Good to know my progress is being monitored :-D As for my old mate i recommend...

Re: O/T The Music Discussion Thread

Whenever Twiggs disses music that I like I remind myself of his opinion on The Beatles and it doesn't seem to matter any more... I don't care what folk think anymore, my tastes are so widespread unfortunately it leaves me vunerable to criticism from the wide-eyed monster from Denmark  Bt...
