Re: Match Thread - Bristol City v Leeds Utd - Forshaw in, Costa on the bench

Under a bit of pressure here, need to calm the temp down.

Good save from Kiko though.

Pablo with some good work finds Forshaw who has a decent chance buts scuffs his shot and easily blocked.

Thought Forshaw was going to unleash then

White looks a class up from Jansson tbf

Certainly is when the ball is on the floor. Not tested too much in the air yet, mind you Jansson was a pretty shoddy man marker.

Re: Match Thread - Bristol City v Leeds Utd - Forshaw in, Costa on the bench

If we are going to play out from the back and spend a lot of time in our own final 1/3 we can't give so many free kicks around this area. Was the same last season but that was mainly down to Jansson.

Casilla needs to learn to get ride of the ball upfield sometimes, defence needs to give him more options too

Pointless keeping the ball at the back if the pass out is poor.

With marginal improvements could Leeds United win the title at a canter?

https://motforum.com/images/th/phillips-boro.png And so the new Championship season starts again today for Leeds United. Last season was full of mixed emotions for Leeds United fans, the team massively overachieved and yet given the position we were at Christmas it could be seen as somewhat of a fa...

Phillips has two years left on his contract, I'd call that tied down.

I would think Dallas starts but I'd be surprised if he got injured in game if Shackleton didn't play there. Don't think Forshaw has played RWB yet?

He did in the Cagliari game when we played 3 at the back.

Very silly, he's pushing for a first team place and could be handed a not insignificant ban now.
