Re: Pre Watford match chat.
It's just occurred to me (after all this time) that Farke perhaps DOES expect Georgie to be back for Watford. He clearly waited until the international break to get him to the surgical team. Well, he could have had another 9 days on top of the break by sending him to the operating table before our p...

Get to the back of the queue Ethan, there's only one toilet at the Cardiff Stadium and I've been waiting the longest.

Re: DF saying jan transfer window will be very quiet
I find it interesting that we're having so few injuries this season (touches wood). The last few have seen the treatment room busier than the a stand bar on some occasions. Is it just luck, is it that the championship has less cloggers (surely not), or is it that the team really want to play for Lee...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 5th December) - Joe Rodon, Wilfred Gnonto swap deal gathering pace
Another dimension about Gnonto going. Less chance of Summerville staying if his best pal is no longer at Elland Road day to day. Did you see it was Gnonto that Summerville ran to after scoring his goal on Saturday? Don't rush to get him off the books. Might end with both going to Spurs.

Re: Wilfried Gnonto-Club Statement, refusing to play
I can see a way back for him. Yes, a considered fulsome apology with perhaps some reasoning as to why he let the situation develop. Followed by an appearance in the team in an away match. He plays out of his skin and shows the faithful that he has much to offer. If he gets his own way, it will only ...

Re: What is the average age of a fan on this forum
69 for me too. Seems to be a vintage age, given that we had regular doses of Harvey, Reaney, Cooper, Bremner, Charlton, Hunter, Lorimer, Clarke, Jones Giles, and Gray. I remember going to many home matches. Back in those days, the talk before the match wasn't whether we would win, it was how many we...

Re: A to Z of Pop - Your 3 favourite ROXY MUSIC songs
It is odd that fans seem to like one side or the other of certain bands. I saw Roxy Music in Manchester last year and was disinterested in their earlier stuff, but loved the more melodic tear-jerker songs. Same with Fleetwood Mac. Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham transformed the band, again with ...

Re: A to Z of Pop - Your 3 favourite QUEEN songs
Surprised nobody's mentioned Innuendo. What a powerful song. To me, it's about religion. and maybe written at a time when Freddie was aware of his own mortality. : If there's a God or any kind of justice under the sky If there's a point if there's a reason to live or die If there's an answer to the ...

"I wonder if the fans actually fall for this nonsense we are doing right now"
It's embarrassing. And why do we deprive one of the two a place in the box where the corner is supposedly heading?

Re: Kalvin Phillips - BREAKING NEWS.......
What a terrific response from Kalvin. Who'd begrudge him a tilt at the best the game can offer. If someone told you as a 26 year old "go to work for company A, as they have the best promotion prospects, or choose company B if you just want to sit comfortably, which would you do?

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 16th June) - Kalvin Phillips 'wants Manchester City transfer'
It worries me when you see the likes of Phillips apparently voicing his preference for Man City, and Rhaphinha setting his heart on Barcelona, as it limits the interest from other teams, and therefore the possibility of a bidding war. Though Kewell was (and remains), one of my favourite Leeds United...

Re: Fixtures 2022-2023
After all the bad luck the club has endured over the seasons going right back to the great team of the 60s and 70s, isn't it refreshing that for whatever reason, the Gods have decided to look favourably upon us for a while. Something to celebrate. We curse the bad luck enough.

Re: Joe Gelhardt
He has the right temperament for a forward. Knew what he wanted to do with the header, and didn't fluff his lines when Raph returned the ball to him. Many other Leeds players would have missed under those circumstances.

They're adjusting to a new system. Think getting to half-time unscathed will do their confidence no end of good. Can see a possible win here.
