Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 18th May) - EFL Statement delights Leeds fans

It's all just wild speculation at the moment coming from all corners. The EFL have no say over what happens with the PL and with the bottom clubs getting increasingly desperate I am sure they will find a way to remain in the league at our expense. Its an unfortunate turn of events and one that will ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 13th May) EFL meeting will define season

Clubs at the bottom of the prem apparently trying to prevent relegation from another angle now saying relegation should be scrapped if the championship dosnt complete its fixtures. As completely separate entities how the EFl decide to end the leagues is nothing to do with prem clubs. It's not though...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tue 12th May) FA's interference great news for Leeds

Which 3 teams would you like to see go down? Norwich - Are a given which is unfortunate as i have no feelings for them either way Brighton - as already been said they are a bunch of moaners and their fans recently had the audacity to label LUFC an irrelevance. also might help us get ben white. Vill...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tue 12th May) FA's interference great news for Leeds

A bird in the hand is better than 2 in the bush as they say so I probably would be happy to be handed promotion, it's not like we dont deserve it. Having said that we tend to emerge pretty fast from the traps after an extended break so I would still back us for promotion if the games were played, ev...

Re: Coronavirus.......Boris's confusing speech

Though many at least if twitter is to be believed would have the lock down carry on for the next 6 months those with an ounce of economic knowledge can see that you can't halt everything and expect to emerge dewy eyed in to an unchanged world nor can you expect some kind of new world utopia. Rather ...

Re: MOTD...The best PL players outside the 'Big 6'

I find it a bit unintentionally insulting to clubs and the players really you can't say in hindsight they never played for one of the big six as those clubs stand now. At the time batty and speed played for us we won the league - Man City certainly were not top 6 at that time. Same with viduka if he...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 4th May) - Act of sabotage from PL teams threatens Leeds & West Brom’s promotion

There is no point restarting the prem again if those at the bottom have no chance of relegation, they could just play reserves and not try properly which will affect what happens at the top. It should be normal format or nothing. Prem should say you either have the chance to play yourselves out of r...

Not much fairness in football especially amongst the elite WR

Anyway it's our centenary year so it's almost certain to go tits up :(
Tis true and was ever thus. I'll stick to my usual mantra of expecting nothing then I can only be pleasantly surprised when the unexpected occurs.

Re: Alarming second half of the season stats for Leeds

Still far from certain deciding the positions will make any difference. Prem clubs now suggesting they will only play at neutral venues if relegation is taken off the table - selfish tw@s. And the prem dont want more teams in the league. If it ends up there is no way leeds get promoted I'd rather th...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 28th April) - Victor Orta wants Kiko Casilla to stay at Leeds

I have pretty much resigned myself to us not going up this season, God knows what that will mean for us financially, managerially and the squad but despite my feelings about it i just can't see the prem relegating teams even though they deserve it UEFA should have been more specific and mandated tha...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 23rd April) - Leeds have the best away supporters, Its official

There needs to be some joined up thinking here, i can't see how we can have different leagues in England having different rules. Should the season not restart the prem, champ and leagues 1 and 2 need to have the same rules. Uefa have said entry to their competitions can only be done through sporting ...

Re: Coronavirus.......LOCKDOWN IMMINENT!

At some point the call needs to be made on whether the financial impact of the lockdown will ultimately lead to more lives been lost than directly via the virus itself. Corbyn claimed 120000 died as a result of austerity - the effects of continued lockdown will by far more severe than a few years of...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 10th Jan) - Leeds United announce £36m losses for 2018/2019 season

Group administration sounds like BS to me, the fact its even been discussed shows that football in this country is completely broken and i can't see how leagues below the prem would continue as a going concern - what the hell's the point. All the best players would be poached for next to nothing and...

Re: Its simple

Alot of clubs would be hit harder than we would if loan players all went back before the extended season finished. It dosnt sound outside the realms of possibility to agree a blanket extension on loans and contracts for a month or so. Sounds like the top 6 championship clubs are getting their ducks ...

Re: If the season is abandoned

I always tend to expect the worst hence my previous comments about them cancelling the season. People saying it's the fairest way to do it though are completely stupid, deluded or both How is it fair to write off 37 games of a season where clubs have spent millions to get where they are and players ...

Re: Football suspended till April

The season will not finish, any one thinking it will is just wishful thinking, the gypsy curse has been really creative this time, there was no other way to stop our promotion. The league will be void and we will start again in August. Of course for us that means we will lose bielsa, Phillip's, Ben ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thur 12th Mar) - All matches to be played behind closed doors?

Worse case scenario if a few players accross the league end up getting it then expect the season to be postponed - if we get to a point where it's no longer possible to restart expect the FA and EFL to cancel the leagues with no promotion or relegation - any which way they do it they will be swamped...

Re: Coronavirus

Is anyone considering not going tomorrow? I'm a bit of a stresser and have asthma so on the fence about it at the moment. In situ in the stands is ok but the pre game and half time toilet herd is a concern. I wonder if we will see a lower attendance.

Huddersfield fan gives his opinion on which player is better in each position, what do we think? Anyone would think they were top 2 and we were 17th! I do think we are a better team rather than being the sum of our parts so maybe they do have better individuals but they are not a better team. Having...

Clearly the club were already in possession of the facts when they put the statement out on friday so they seem to have made their minds up that he didnt say what's suggested so any one saying he shouldn't play for us again are likely to be disappointed. Got to give the benefit of the doubt to the p...
