Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 19th April) How far will £36m in parachute payments stretch
Morning all. I didne realise we were that much in debt ffs, who sanctionss these deals, and, 49ers have to take a lot of blame for negligence on their part, not only that, kinnear is still here. I f Iseriously thought the club would never challenge for promotion every year I would stop going. Shame...

Joffy was screwed the minute Gnonto arrived, Rutter made it worse ( really screwed) and then Joseph looks like breaking through, so he now completely screwed. Unless of course we sell three of our forward line this summer ( likely in any case promoted of not) in which case Joffy, Joseph and Piroe wi...

Re: Striker selection poll
I cant vote as I think Farke needs to change the whole one up top scenario.
Boring old 4-4-2
Back 4 as per usual but MF of Gruev Rutter Gnonto and Jimmy
Joseph and Bamford as two 9s

Re: Today's Games
Obviously, Pep is a zillion miles ahead of me when it comes to football, but taking off Haaland and KDB then allowing your keeper to take a penalty is absolutely bonkers. The cyborg was subbed just before ET began so we had what was essentially a quarter of the game to go. KDB though, yes he would ...

Cited emulating Leeds in being able to break through the low block.
Trying to walk it in with three minutes of ET remaining.

Re: Middlesbrough pre match chat
A very valid point and the reason it was viewed as not working was because Rutter wan't scoring enough as a 9. We switched Rutter to the 10 where his lack of goals is seemingly less important but then Bamford got his goal in the cup and then hit one of his trademark sstreaky scoring spells so Piroe...

Re: Middlesbrough pre match chat
Piroe was finding the net when the team hadnt settled into the format we are using now. Then it was Ampadu in MF and Rutter up top with Piroe as the 10. Funny that, as when that was happening there was a lot of complaint over how it didnt work, but looking back it kind of did results wise. Perhaps D...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 17th April) Leeds will fail FFP if promoted
As we know it'll only be a two points deduction. OK.it may keep us out of a Champions League spot but that's probably not a bad thing. We dont want to go too fast too soon.. Interesting how the OP paints this as some sort of dialogue between the lawyer and PH. Lawyer says this, PH says that then law...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 16th April) Why no 'B' plan
Only am idiot would get rid if Farke this season. Or next season either. As this this plan A plan B tripe. It's the most mythical bollocks of a concept ever in the history of sport. It ignores the fact that players have peaks and troughs in fitness and form and sometimes it doesn't come off, no matt...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 15th April) Leeds are falling apart - again
Not sure whether next season will be a bit less competitive at the top. I’d be surprised if kompany stayed at Burnley, wilder will leave sheff united who have a massive 2 point deduction. Luton I’m not sure on I guess rob edwards stays which would keep them up there and I can’t really see anyone el...

Re: Middlesbrough pre match chat
Time for DF to unleash Joffy in the run in :) I know it is not likely but Joffy has a track record as a big game player, someone who can keep his in those critical moments. Norwich, Wolves, Brighton are the three stand outs where his grit and determination and game awareness, coulpled with his skill...

Nice to see the three lads who got awards were honoured today in our news.
Why do that when we can indulge in a bout of self pity instead.
New song.

There was something on Leeds live.
When they were warming up Bamfird was speaking to Joseph who was pushing him away from him.
Cooper and another player ended up stepping in.
Search for it.
Prob Joseph stropy about not starting.

Lets stop discussing it, you have your opinion and I have mine. The Subhuman wrote: ↑Sun Apr 14, 2024 5:14 pm But it can't tell you the state of the hamstring itself.. It a nice excuse but it's basically rubbish.... If we take off players based on a normal "load" for a footballer we'd have to cut games to an hour.

Re: Middlesbrough pre match chat
A rest will be helpful. Boro try an play football, so that is probably are best hope after facing a packed MF and defence for the last three matches. We will not know if it is a good thing to be the last playing until we go there next monday. Changes? Having Gruev and a fit and well Kamara is very i...

They monitor the load on the body and combined with the data already stored on the player (including his injury status) red flag the team on the sideline. The Subhuman wrote: ↑Sun Apr 14, 2024 1:32 pm What it can't do is moniter how a hamstring is holding up.... just tell you how far Gnonto has run and his vital signs I'd assume.
