Re: Tyler Roberts

That pitch map highlights the bias we have towards attacking down the left rather than through the middle or on the right.

But could you ever see a game where Lionel Messi didn't get into the box?

Re: Two Crucial Matches?

If we consider ourselves serious promotion contenders then we should be collecting maximum points in these games with a minimum of fuss. But our players need to get out of their heads that they need to score the perfect goal. When Ayling was fouled on Saturday it wasnt as if he presented a goal thre...

Re: Two Crucial Matches?

Just had a look at last seasons table.

At this stage we had us Norwich and the Blunts in the top 3 with Villa miles behind.

The previous year it was Fulham who were 17th but made climbed to third by end of season.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 12th November) D-day for Casilla

Morning folks. I think Kiko will have had his appeal sent off by now. Does anyone know how this process will work? Will there be face to face meetings at HQ? Are there lawyers or other representatives involved? On a lighter note perhaps Bielsa could speak to the FA? Get his PowerPoint Presentation o...

Colin has left Cardiff.

He will now retire . . . . . . Until February when he will become a manager again and immediately declare his new squad a great bunch of lads, the best he has worked with in fact.
Next Norn Iron manager

I am officially starting the rumour here.

Our next opponents Luton won only one of their last six games conceding an average of two goals a game
Time to make their manager look like a tactical genius then :)

Re: Kiko Casilla Charged by the FA and appealing

Surely Leeds will appeal if they feel Kiko has receive an unfair verdict? But to whom and on what grounds? That sounds reasonable but on what grounds can they appeal? We don’t agree with your findings? We don’t agree with the penalties (maybe) But the whole forum for settling these issues seem so f...

Re: Kiko Casilla Charged by the FA and appealing

No where else can an organisation treat it's emplyees different to the law of the land. Or is it clubs just let them get away with it, I like to see a case taken to court, to see what happens. Agreed. Kiko should kick up a lot of dust about this if he gets any sort of sanction. At worst it will bri...

Re: Kiko Casilla Charged by the FA and appealing

Interesting comments by Kinnear: Think we know what he feels about the allegations. "This week Kiko Casilla received a charge for an alleged aggravated breach of FA Rule E3, As many will have seen reported in the press, it has been suggested that Kiko used discriminatory language during our language...

Re: Leeds Utd v Blackburn Rovers Match Thread - Bielsa names unchanged starting XI

Probably the simple reason is that Jack is completely in tune with Bielsaball and knows where he is meant to be on the pitch at all times so he sees more of the ball as there is so often an easy pass on to him. Costa isn't quite up to speed on the nuances of Bielsaball and as such isn't quite in th...

Re: Leeds Utd v Blackburn Rovers Match Thread - Bielsa names unchanged starting XI

Just a few comments from yesterday. Harrisons goal. What I enjoyed about it so much was that Blackburn, even though they had just went a goal down just felt they could back off against us like do many teams do. KP had all the time in the world to pick his pass and they were superbly punished. But th...

Ian, you could go to the Whistle Stop in Beeston. Plenty of Irish in there every game. 10 mins walk to the ground when you've had a gallon.. 👍🍺
Might try there after we get like some grub.

Re: Championship 19/20

Did a decent job at Shamrock Rovers apparently. But 2nd division Scottish league experience and a decent spell in Irish club football. Did well with Northern Ireland but in terms of club football is this really a step up from Nathan Jones? Northern Ireland are very grateful to O'Neill for his servi...
